Third person pov:
Jai was having breakfast with his Dad and Brian, but internally, he was worried for Giana. Though they were both younger than her, but she was his favorite sibling who always understood him.
Last night she didn't return home, and her friends told him that they didn't see her leaving.
"You are worried for nothing," Beta Martin drizzled some syrup on the pancake, "She turned eighteen last night, and now we can't ask her whereabouts all the time. Maybe she found her mate."
Jai rolled his eyes upwards, hoping secretly that it wasn't Lucien. The man who didn't even know how to smile.
Nobody in the pack could bully him because he was always ready to pounce. According to Beta Martin, such men were an asset to the pack.
"Asset, my ass," Jai had mumbled.
They were all halfway through breakfast when the door got knocked and someone barged inside.
"Hello!" Giana stood there with one arm around Lucien's waist.
"No way!" Brian got up from his seat, "Is he your mate?"
