After a very exhausting shopping trip, Lucas managed to survive Mia and her friend's lust for shopping. They then went to an arcade and played addictive games,unfortunately for Lucas, the arcade money came from his pockets though he never intended to go.
Lucas bailed halfway and headed straight for home.
He was stopped by some gang of teens actually.
"Oh....and who might you charming boys be?", he sighed.
"The girls you're with, we wanna talk to one of 'em...it's personal", the guy in front said.
"Is it gonna take time?",Lucas asked.
"A lot".
"We're supposed to be back by 6:30...and It's already past 6:15, so maybe next time alright?", he talked whilst walking past them.
One of them grabbed Lucas by his shoulder and said, "Did anyone ask you to leave?".
"You didn't ask me to stay either...", he gentle removed the hand that was on his shoulder.
Just as the atmosphere was becoming intense,the girls came.
The girl that the boys wanted to speak to panicked as they gazed at her.
"THAT'S HER.....THE ONE IN THE MIDDLE, GRAB HER!!!", the guy in front exclaimed.
The girl's prey instincts took action as they began to run without thinking twice.
Mia and Lucas just stood their ground to analyze what was happening.
"What gives?", Lucas asked.
"Erm....I think they might have pranked those boys when you weren't watching.",Mia answered.
"But they're only after her because....?"
"She did it obviously ".
Lucas insisted that Mia goes to help calm things down but she refused because she wasn't in her best outfit for action.
"Fine...I'll go", Lucas said with a low tone.
The girls were cornered. The gang grabbed the girl they were looking for and threatened her.
"Look Miss...I'll let you go, if only you and your friends hang out with us."
"Eww..no thank you",the girls said.
("That was...honest"),Lucas said to himself.
"WHATTT???!!.....You...!!", he was about to smack the girl in the face when Lucas grabbed his hand.
"Please let's not get physical.I believe it was all just a harmless prank they tried to play ",Lucas stated.
"Okay.....So that's forgiven, but what about the fact that she just insulted me?", he asked.
Lucas looked him in the eye and said that it was human life.
"Hm...how about I smack you instead, huh??"
Lucas quickly swooped in to lead the girls to run. The gang became extremely annoyed but they didn't bother chasing them.
After a long 17 minutes, Lucas and Mia made it back home...and Mia's friends too. They thanked Lucas and said they'll never play that silly game again.
Mia landed on her couch with smiles all over her face.
"Haahh....that was fun wasn't it?"
"Sureeee",Lucas said with sarcasm.
