Zephan;
"Father," I greet with a bow as I stand in front of Father, and he gently pats my back.
"Where's your brother?" He questions, and I take a deep breath.
"Zethar and Lioran chose to stay back. Lioran decided that leaving Zethar to rule is a risk." I reply, and Father smiles.
"Hmm." He simply replies, and I smile at him.
"How was your journey?" He questions, and I take a deep breath as I watch my aide move my things.
"Seamless," I reply, and he nods again.
Father makes to speak, but stops with his eyes fixed on something behind me.
I follow his gaze, and my gaze lands on my older brother. Rhydian. My attention, however, doesn't stay on him or the exhaustion and sadness I see in his eyes.
My attention is drawn to the lean, blonde young man walking beside him.
The green-eyed boy stops walking and as he stares at me, I feel my spine recoil in… alarm?
I look down at my hands when a shiver runs through my scales, and I look back up at the boy.
