Nora Scott is someone who's particularly hard to deal with.
That's true when she's sober, and even more so when she's drunk.
She keeps calling "Pedro" and "Miguel," ordering them about—one moment she wants a shoulder rub, the next a back massage, then she wants water, and it has to be just the right temperature.
Then she wants to freshen up and change clothes, but she can't move herself, so she just opens her mouth and commands Pedro Langley to do it all.
Pedro Langley was put through the wringer for almost an hour before he saw her finally quiet down, and after confirming she didn't have any more demands, he breathed a sigh of relief and lay down beside her.
As soon as he lay down, he heard a faint sound.
He turned his head slightly.
By the moonlight streaming through the window, he saw Nora Scott half-poke her head out, squinting slightly, extending a finger to poke at his shoulder under his gaze.

When he didn't respond, Nora poked him again.
