By the time the app finished downloading, Nora and the other three were already in the car, ready to go back.
In the car, Nora made a phone call.
"Hall Master, we lost them." The person on the other end cautiously reported, "There's no surveillance in the village, and we're severely understaffed. They have five cars, going to different places."
Nora took the iPad Pedro handed over, opened the map, swiped her finger across it, and scrutinized the village's routes and terrain.
"Give me the routes." Without blaming, Nora got straight to business.
"Huh?"
The person was momentarily stunned, then quickly caught up and explained the five routes to Nora.
