Marcus Shaw was wearing a short-sleeved shirt and long pants, his jacket casually draped over his shoulders. His hands were bruised and scratched, his face bore marks from impacts, and his white T-shirt was covered in stains. Despite the disheveled look, he still appeared quite intimidating.
He must have gotten into a fight.
Then there was Oliver Scott, who had just finished a glass of water. He also had some injuries and, despite his typically neat appearance, his clothes were a bit messy.
"What happened?"
Nora Scott's expression immediately turned cold.
Marcus put down his school uniform jacket, revealing that it had been torn badly.
"Oh, it's nothing," Oliver wiped his mouth. "When we were coming out of the subway station, someone recognized us. They grabbed us, asking about Mechanism City and if Annabelle Pinto's revelations were true. Then more and more people gathered, and it turned into a scene. Eventually, the subway staff intervened and helped us get away."
"Hmm."
