The tea was soothing, its fragrance enveloping her senses, clearing her mind and vision. Suddenly, she recalled that before her marriage, her aunt had once mentioned, amidst some embarrassing whispers, that women tend to become irritable during pregnancy. She added that, being an impatient person to begin with, she had driven her uncle quite thin during that time. Back then, Shang Ruyi was too shy about the wedding night talk to pay any mind to this detail.
Now, with Tushere bringing it up again, she began to understand.
