Chapter 254: First Transformation and Goblin Raid
Hogwarts held the line. That evening, everyone celebrated with a feast in the Great Hall.
Godric and Salazar were drinking together with obvious camaraderie, while Lady Helga simply set up large cauldrons in the hall to cook food for everyone.
The banquet hall was filled with laughter and joy.
Aiden sat in a corner with fried meatballs, quietly tasting them with obvious satisfaction.
He forked a meatball and put it in his mouth, savoring the rich meat and oil that burst across his tongue.
"Huff huff" Aiden looked up and exhaled two puffs of hot air.
At this time, a tall man carrying a drink walked over and sat beside Aiden.
"Elvis, you performed well on the battlefield," Aiden said, strangely praising his own ancestor.
Elvis didn't mind the strangeness in Aiden's tone and instead asked, "Your Lordship, may I learn that magic of transforming into a dragon?"
Elvis stared intensely at Aiden, his eyes flickering with obvious desire.
Aiden stared in silence. "..."
"How should I put it... this magic requires generational inheritance to complete. Even so, do you still want to learn it?" Aiden asked, looking at him seriously.
"So I can't become a dragon?"
The light in Elvis's eyes dimmed for a moment, but he quickly rallied with determination.
"Then let my descendants complete it. Someone has to make the beginning."
Elvis's resolute determination moved Aiden deeply.
"Fine, then come with me," Aiden said, leading Elvis into a blind spot of consciousness.
The thoroughly drunk Sean walked over with his drink, puzzled. "Where did they go?"
Aiden brought Elvis to his room.
His staff materialised in his hand. With a gentle tap on the floor, the room's interior space expanded more than tenfold.
"Come now, remove your clothing," Aiden said.
Elvis followed Aiden's instructions and removed his clothing without hesitation.
Aiden pulled out dragon blood obtained today on the battlefield and began carving an alchemical matrix with precise movements.
Soon, a matrix emanating crimson light appeared on the floor.
"Mr. Prewett, one last warning. The process of fusing dragon blood into the body is extremely painful. Moreover, you cannot lose consciousness during the fusion process, or there will be danger of being influenced by dragon will."
Aiden held the jar, giving Elvis one final warning.
"Come on!" Elvis nodded with brave determination.
The alchemical matrix lit up. The Gyfu (ᚷ) rune channelled lunar-attributed magical power into Elvis's body.
The Gebo (ᚷ) rune lit up. The power of exchange enveloped Elvis as Aiden poured dragon blood over Elvis's body.
As the alchemical ritual operated, the dragon blood slowly permeated Elvis's bones and blood.
"Ugh!!" A muffled roar squeezed from Elvis's throat.
He felt as if his entire body was being roasted over fire, while swords were simultaneously piercing back and forth through his body.
He desperately wanted to lose consciousness, but whenever he closed his eyes, a pair of angry dragon eyes appeared before him.
Seeing him like this, Aiden also released soothing magic to ease his mental suffering.
The entire ritual lasted an hour. Finally, just before Elvis was about to lose consciousness, the matrix's light was completely absorbed by his body.
"You endured it," Aiden said with obvious relief.
"Then that's... good," Elvis said. He could no longer hold on and fell unconscious.
Knock knock. The moment Elvis lost consciousness, Aiden's door was knocked.
"Come in," Aiden said.
The door was pushed open, and Salazar's face appeared before Aiden.
"As I thought, you can already perform bloodline implantation rituals," Salazar murmured with obvious interest.
"Oh, Salazar, you seem quite knowledgeable about this," Aiden said, raising an eyebrow.
"Somewhat," Salazar said with a knowing smile.
Aiden returned his smile, and the two began a candlelit discussion using the materials available in the room.
The next day, Elvis woke up in Aiden's bed.
"The surgery was successful. You're now a girl," a melodious young voice came teasingly.
Elvis immediately reached down to check, then jolted completely awake.
"Sir, that's not funny!" Elvis complained with obvious alarm.
"Hahaha," Aiden laughed with obvious amusement.
"Go out and try it. This transformation should have given your body trace amounts of dragon blood."
Aiden reached out, picked up Elvis, and with a spatial flicker brought him outside to the open ground.
Aiden picked up a stone and tossed it to Elvis.
Elvis caught the stone and, with slight force, squeezed several finger impressions into it.
"Strength has increased, and magical power reserves have also significantly improved," Elvis said with obvious satisfaction.
"Now, write a six-inch essay about this ritual, including your future ideas for ritual development."
Aiden winked at Elvis, in an excellent mood.
"Sigh~!" Elvis let out a long, weary sigh.
While Hogwarts enjoyed peaceful and stable days...
At the Wizards' Council, underground, two wizards in black and gold robes were guarding what appeared to be a treasury.
The light from torches flickered with the dancing flames. What the two wizards didn't notice was that the shadows in the darkness also trembled slightly.
Suddenly, two sharp knives emerged from the shadows at their feet, striking toward their chests with lethal precision.
The two battle-hardened wizards were obviously not pushovers, simultaneously casting wandless defensive magic on themselves.
Unfortunately, the moment the attackers' knives touched the magic, the spells dissipated mysteriously.
The sharp knives continued unabated toward the two wizards' hearts.
"Thud, thud." Two sounds rang out, and the two treasury guards lost their lives.
"Let's go, quickly," the shadows said, removing the black cloth covering them and revealing two goblins.
They quickly opened the treasury door with practised efficiency.
The interior was magnificent and golden, piled with the crystallised wisdom of wizards.
The two goblins showed greedy expressions toward these treasures but quickly restrained themselves.
Because they bore a more important mission.
The goblins passed through the dazzling array of treasures and came to the deepest part of the treasury.
Here, a strange altar stood in the centre, with a small gem placed upon it.
One goblin immediately reached out to touch the gem.
"Wait, fool!" the other goblin tried to stop him, but it was too late.
The altar suddenly emitted a flame, turning the goblin to ash instantly.
At the same time, the treasury's alarm was triggered, and the door began slowly closing.
"That fool!" the remaining goblin cursed with obvious frustration.
He pulled out a piece of white cloth and threw it toward the gem, and the cloth covered the gem and automatically wrapped it up.
The goblin grabbed the bundle and sprinted toward the door, escaping the treasury just before the stone door fell.
"Whoosh, whoosh." Space flickered several times, and several figures arrived at the scene.
They discovered the murdered wizards, their faces grim with obvious anger.
The leading long-bearded old man waved his wand, and the stone door opened.
After the group conducted an inventory, they discovered they had lost the most precious item in the treasury.
The entire wizarding world was mobilised again, with wanted notices from the Wizards' Council flying everywhere.
The war would likely enter a white-hot state once more.
