Chapter 13 —New day
Night had fallen, and Dante was getting ready to go out. Sera looked at her son with a mixture of concern and amusement.
— Don't forget to come back early tomorrow. We have a trip to make.
Dante lifted his head and gave her a confident smile.
— Relax, Mom… you're talking to someone with teleportation powers. It's impossible for me to be late. And if something happens, I still have my dragon form. Although, I'm saving that first transformation for a dramatic moment.
Sera watched her son, who, despite his powers, only acted his age in moments like this. She smiled gently.
— Alright. Just make sure to arrive on time tomorrow. And no transforming into a dragon to get back. I don't want to turn on the news and hear, "Alien spacecraft spotted flying over the United States at high speed." Understand?
Dante chuckled lightly.
— Okay, okay… I'll take it easy. I'm leaving now.
He opened a portal and disappeared in a blink, leaving Sera and Charlie in the living room.
Charlie, arriving at that moment, raised an eyebrow.
— So… he's gone already?
Sera nodded, squeezing Charlie's hand.
— Yes.
Charlie exhaled slowly, a mix of admiration and exhaustion in his voice.
— It really is difficult raising a superpowered teenager who can teleport anywhere in the world.
Sera smiled reassuringly.
— Don't worry. We did an excellent job raising him. You know, despite his playful side, he's never used his powers to hurt anyone or take advantage.
Charlie nodded.
— I know… we raised a good man.
Sera continued, her tone thoughtful.
— But when are we going to tell Bella about Dante's powers? If we keep hiding it, she might think we treat her like a stranger.
Charlie smiled faintly.
— Dante… he wouldn't mind telling her.
Sera laughed softly, shaking her head.
— It seems you really don't know your son. From afar, it looks like he doesn't like Bella. But that's just his way with his sister. He cares about her a lot. If she asked for help, he'd assist her without thinking twice. You don't need to worry about what he thinks.
Charlie breathed out, considering her words.
— Then… after we come back from this trip, we'll tell her everything.
Meanwhile, on the other side of the city, Dante arrived at the bar. He waved to Ted, Lily, and Marshall, who waved back cheerfully. He took a seat just as a familiar voice rang out.
— Ted, my friend, when did you meet this heartthrob that looks like he stepped out of a teenage daydream movie?
Dante looked up to see Barney grinning mischievously.
— Pleasure to meet you. I'm Dante. — He extended his hand.
Barney shook it firmly.
— Dante, right. Now that you've joined the group, follow me for the most legendary nights you can imagine.
Dante couldn't help but smile at the classic catchphrase.
— Seems like an epic path lies ahead.
Barney beamed.
— Listening to this guy… he knows his stuff!
Dante added, with a slight grin:
— But sorry… I'm dating someone. — He thought to himself: Plus, I've got two more to handle… ah.
Barney pressed a hand dramatically against his forehead.
— Cruel fate, my friend! A man with such potential to be my wingman… imprisoned! — He looked at Ted. — Ted, good news: our duo is back.
Ted, who had been relieved that Barney wasn't tormenting him, now returned to his usual chaos of emotions.
Dante chuckled quietly.
Lily leaned forward, curiosity written across her face.
— Yesterday you ran off. We didn't get a chance to know you well. What do you do?
Dante smiled.
— Well… currently, I'm a fiction writer. What about you guys?
— I'm a teacher — Lily replied.
— I'm finishing law school — Marshall added.
— Architect — Ted said, raising a hand casually.
Barney smirked arrogantly.
— Your small minds aren't ready for my legendary job.
Dante laughed at the remark.
Lily tilted her head.
— And your girlfriend? You didn't say much about her.
— She's my editor. We met by accident… there was chemistry, and we started dating. — Dante thought to himself: I can't tell them the real story about vampires, dragons, and all the madness of this world.
While they chatted, Ted froze, staring toward a corner of the bar.
— That woman… she's going to be the mother of my children.
Dante smiled knowingly.
— If you're that interested… why not go talk to her?
Marshall and Lily nodded in encouragement.
Ted stammered, unsure.
— But… what do I say to her?
Barney appeared beside him, as theatrical as ever.
— You know Ted.
Dante watched as Ted nervously conversed with Robin.
— I'm impressed.
Lily's curiosity was piqued.
— Ted managed to talk to her?
— Not him… Barney didn't try to pick her up before Ted.
Marshall chuckled, shaking his head.
— That's… unprecedented.
Barney crossed his arms, mock indignation on his face.
— You're tarnishing my honor! I follow the Bro Code! If one bro spots a girl first, the other supports him.
Dante raised his glass.
— Let's drink, folks.
Ted's eyes lit up.
— She accepted the date!
Barney raised a triumphant arm.
— That deserves a celebration! Another round!
After a long evening of drinks and conversation, Dante stood.
— Tonight was amazing. Thanks for the company, Lily, Marshall, Ted, Barney. But I have to leave.
Ted protested.
— Stay a bit longer!
— The night is just beginning! — Barney added with a grin.
Dante laughed.
— Sorry, everyone. That will have to wait. My girlfriend's waiting for me.
Barney threw his hands in the air dramatically.
— See? That's why I don't date. I'm a lone wolf, living dangerously, from prey to prey!
Lily giggled.
— Okay, later we'll schedule another night out.
Dante agreed.
— Let's exchange numbers, then. Let me know when you want to hang out.
After exchanging numbers with Marshall, Lily, Ted, and Barney, Dante stretched as he left the bar.
— What a fun night…
He glanced around to make sure no one was watching, opened a portal, and vanished.
Moments later, he appeared in Margaret's apartment. She gasped in surprise.
— Dante! — She nearly fell, but he caught her in his arms. — You can't just show up like that! You almost gave me a heart attack!
He held her like a princess in his arms.
— Sorry… but now I need the help of my beautiful girlfriend with a little "something."
Wrapping her arms around Dante's neck, Margaret said something serious.
As he led her to the bedroom and began undressing her, Dante murmured, "I'm full of energy… I need to release some of this energy."
Margaret pressed herself closer and whispered, "Then let me help you."
She kissed him deeply. The kisses grew hungrier, more urgent, while her hands roamed over his body.
After a while, feeling the moment was right, Dante gently laid her down and slid his hard cock into her tight, wet pussy. The room soon filled with the rhythmic slap of skin against skin and Margaret's moans of pleasure.
He looked down, watching her pussy grip and swallow his entire length. When he felt himself nearing the edge and started to pull out, Margaret quickly wrapped her legs around his waist, locking him in place.
"Don't pull out," she gasped. "I'm in my safe period."
With a deep groan, Dante came hard, pulsing deep inside her.
When it was over, they collapsed together, spent. The night had turned into morning. Sunlight crept through the curtains as Dante glanced at the clock—there was still plenty of time before the trip. He pulled his exhausted girlfriend into his arms, kissed her forehead softly, closed his eyes again, and let sleep take them both once more.
