And after those words, there was a very long silence.
The kind of silence that felt strange. Heavy. Nobody spoke. Nobody moved. Even Sofia found herself holding her breath without realizing it. Nerrisa simply stared at Razeal while Razeal stared right back at her with the same calm expression as before. There was no challenge in his eyes, no arrogance, no excitement. If anything, he looked almost bored. As if threatening the strongest person in the world and telling her to follow her own advice was just another normal conversation to him. The silence stretched for several seconds before Nerrisa finally moved.
"Umm…" She slowly turned her head away from Razeal and looked toward Merisa instead.
"Merisa…" She pointed her thumb backward toward Razeal without even looking at him.
"You seeing this?" Her voice carried genuine confusion.
Actual confusion.
Not anger no annoyance but sheer Confusion.
