Chapter 15 - Chapter 15

2 month's later...

At the deeper part of the misty mountain, is where I currently am. Gathering precious herbs and hunting monster at the request of the hunter guild that I just joined a month ago.

Chloe asked me to gather some ingredients on the mountain because we're running low on stocks. Due to the alchemist job she awaken which was also part of the craftsman class, i saw she suddenly obtain a mysterious flask. I'm kind of envious, like where the hell is my exclusive summoner class item.

(summoner exclusive item: monster lord veil was left in the dungeon and orvel didn't notice it being mixed with his scattered weird costumes)

I remember in that dream, the mysterious figure that vanished left behind something.. Hmm, I don't recall what it is but I am truly unlucky, as I thought sadly.

Guess I should finish things here, this is the last on the list, dark bloom sunflower.

I also hunted some mist cryptids hiding in this mountain, that should finish up my E rank advancement missions. I put things up in my system inventory and have now started to leave the mountain, taking the safe route I've drawn after Explorer this place for a month now.

I could not forget, before masters death. I received his final farewell gift. I heard him that time when he put his weakened hand in my shoulder, i saw his eyes retina moving in colorful an complicated pattern. He spoke "full authority transfer" then that weird floating text, suddenly turn wild, too many notifications I couldn't keep up. My then said to me while coughing blood. "live your life without regrets" he then push me and then on i passed out due to the excessive mental corruption. During that time my system has undergo a month of sleep. I wake up half a month, lying on a bed that was put into the break room by Chloe. It was later relocated below, into the basement. We used it to be our new, although I don't like to but had no choice. The basement room, it's still widely spacious.

"I'm back! Here is what you asked for" carrying a bag filled with wild herbs as I step into our place. I've finally familiarized myself from this place, knowing every streets, shortcuts and clear roads.

"ohh your here perfect your just in time, how about you try what I cooked" said Chloe coming out of the kitchen door holding a a pot of soup, it colors and texture indicates it isn't safe to eat.

Orvel as he looked at the distance and sense there's seems to be a poison in there immediately replied

"I-i feel full! Please go on without I have to report back from the guild!" just as orvel was about to ran off. Chloe caught him by his robe, she seemed to have been leveled up the more she brew potions, combined with a her agility enhancement potion. Just as he was already thinking of begging for mercy. She instead hand over a bag full of diet pill, and other types of potion.

"take it, just remember to retreat if things gets very dangerous, and why are did you not come home for days" she said with her glare probing into him, he can't avoid eye contact with her and replied stuttered.

"I-i just camp-"

"alright, you can go but don't ever to forget going home"

Orvel smiled as a replied "I got it" then I'll going please take care of the shop and to yourself" he waved his hands and orvel rushed out and headed directly to the guild.

...

Honestly, I didn't lie though. I was just stuck in the mountain for days gotta admit the forest is very large and confusing, I'm kind of have a bad sense of direction myself without my second contracted summon, this petty dog It would've taken me a month before finding the right path to the city.

Gotta go, it's been almost month since Chloe obtain her job class, but ever since she became an alchemist the delicious meals she always cook that even I can't help but feel delightfully attracted to it has turned into more horrendous than a prisoners meal. It's either cooked too well it started burnt black, it often bubbled as if some death goo was put into it and those creepy ingredient floating into the soup saying it's good for the body. Last time I was forced feed, I had bad diarrhea for a week with nausea. I don't know how she cooked it to be this bad I guess job class makes a person different.

Arrived within the gates of the guild where the bravest adventurers reside, well not gonna lie the group mostly consisted on grouped thugs dressed in warrior clothes, and narcissist bunch who always want to look elegant in there premade attention seeking attire.

That cute lady there is the receptionist, good thing today is not that old cout turn to work, luckily it's Friday and I could see the cute guild receptionist.

"ohh welcome Mr orvel have you finished the request?" the receptionist gently said with cold expression.

I know we're not close but I just hope she don't look at me like I'm a pervert.

"yes, i have 15 mist ear in this bag" I put a sack into the desk and she started counting the cryptids ears covered in mist.

Since it was my advancement to c rank mission, I gave her my adventurer card for verification. And later while I received my 30 silver reward and my updated adventurer card.

That damn system made me broke. After what happened a month ago which put me to grief a lot worse than seeing master died...

The activation of some sort function of the system made the book and the entire wealth inside the storage space bag merge and the content on the book became an independent encyclopedia panel that I could browse anytime with the system, but the entire wealth inside vanished not even a single penny left. My precious artifacts also disappeared, couldn't help but spat blood in realization.

And here I am scraping some penny on the guild or so. well, honestly i just enjoy adventuring with a reward.

As I received my reward, someone suddenly barge in in tattered equipment, broken sword and a wounded body.

"pleasehelp! My sister was kidnap by a murlock cryptid! I will give you my entire savings of 2 gold just please save my sister!" desperate in his plea of help. He drag his tired body and kneel to floor couldn't support his tired body anymore.
