Chapter 323 - Naruto: I am Uchiha Fugaku [323]

Far from the battlefield where Uchiha Fugaku and Uchiha Madara were locked in combat, Uchiha Sasuke and Hatake Kakashi joined forces to face Uchiha Obito.

Sasuke, wielding the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan and the Flying Thunder God Technique, had already reached power on par with or even beyond that of the Kage.

Though Kakashi had lost his Mangekyō Sharingan, he had since unlocked his true potential—his strength was undiminished, still firmly at Kage level.

Under their combined assault, Obito was forced to use Izanagi.

But even Izanagi could only delay the inevitable—it merely postponed his defeat.

Once the technique's duration expired, Obito again found himself surrounded and battered by Sasuke and Kakashi.

With Sasuke's mastery of the Flying Thunder God, Obito had no chance to escape via space-time teleportation and could only rely on Kamui's intangibility to desperately hang on.

Buzz—

As Kamui's intangibility wore off, Obito was forced back into a tangible state.

Flash—

Sasuke, who had been waiting for this precise moment, instantly appeared beside Obito using the Flying Thunder God.

Thrust—

Lightning surged in his right hand like a blade of pure thunder, piercing straight through Obito's body and leaving a gaping hole in his chest.

"Purple Lightning!"

Right after Sasuke's strike, Kakashi closed in, his hand blazing with violet electricity—like a blade of crackling purple thunder.

Slash—

The lightning blade cut across Obito's torso, leaving a long, gruesome wound.

Already gravely injured, Obito's condition deteriorated rapidly.

Even with Hashirama's cells granting him immense vitality, he was now on the brink of death.

Crack—

Kakashi's Purple Lightning grazed Obito's face, shattering his mask and revealing a scarred and disfigured visage.

Seeing that familiar face, Kakashi's heart trembled violently. He gasped in shock.

"Obito…"

"Rin…"

Obito's expression softened. He looked at Kakashi with a mixture of regret and sorrow before his body went limp, collapsing lifelessly to the ground.

Elsewhere, far from Fugaku and Madara's battle, Spore Clone One and Spore Clone Two joined forces against Black Zetsu and White Zetsu.

Though White Zetsu was technically the "original" among his kind, his combat ability was weak—far below Kage level.

Black Zetsu, the so-called "third son of Kaguya Ōtsutsuki," was the true mastermind behind the chaos of the ninja world—more secretive even than Uchiha Madara himself.

However, in terms of pure power, he was merely around Kage level—hardly remarkable on this battlefield.

Under the joint assault of the two Spore Clones, White Zetsu was quickly slain, leaving only Black Zetsu to face their onslaught.

"Amaterasu!"

Spore Clone One's Mangekyō Sharingan spun rapidly, igniting Black Zetsu in inextinguishable black flames.

Sasuke's old Mangekyō Sharingan had not been returned to Itachi—it was now in the possession of the first Spore Clone.

"Aaaah!"

Black Zetsu screamed in agony as the black flames devoured him. He collapsed to the ground, his body writhing in torment.

But secretly, he detached the unburned portion of his form and attempted to escape underground.

Before he could flee—

"Ice Release: Frozen Spikes!"

Massive ice spears burst from the ground, one of them impaling Black Zetsu and hoisting him up like a skewer.

"Amaterasu!"

Once again, the black flames erupted—this time engulfing his entire body.

"No… I refuse this fate!"

Black Zetsu screamed in anguish and defiance—not only unwilling to die, but enraged that Kaguya's resurrection, so close to completion, had failed.

Buzz—

Using an Ōtsutsuki secret art, he sent a final message through space—past the ninja world, across the void of the cosmos—toward a mysterious distant place.

That place was none other than the main planet of the Ōtsutsuki Clan.

With his death, Kaguya's revival became impossible.

But at the very least, his transmission could bring the Ōtsutsuki to Earth—

if they couldn't resurrect Kaguya, they could at least destroy the shinobi world in her name.

Thud—

Uchiha Madara's body finally collapsed, his life ebbing away.

As death drew near, he could no longer suppress the Ten-Tails sealed within him.

The monstrous beast burst free, tearing itself out of his body.

Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh!

The Ten-Tails emerged in full, its ten massive tails lashing out toward Uchiha Fugaku.

Sensing danger from him, the Ten-Tails' primal instinct was to annihilate this threat.

"Shinra Tensei!"

Fugaku unleashed wave after wave of repulsive force barriers before him.

The Ten-Tails' tails couldn't even come close—they were forced back by the invisible walls of power.

Though it had yet to reach full evolution, the Ten-Tails' strength was indeed at the Six Paths level, but still not enough to match Fugaku.

Boom!

The beast opened its jaws wide, forming a massive Tailed Beast Bomb, the size of a mountain, and launched it toward Fugaku.

"Sealing Technique: Absorption Seal!"

Fugaku raised both hands, using a sealing art that absorbed the massive sphere of destruction, shrinking it until it vanished completely.

"How should I deal with this thing…"

He gazed up at the towering, two-hundred-meter-tall Ten-Tails, pondering its fate.

If he extracted the tailed beasts from it, the Ten-Tails would regress back into the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path—but that would be a waste.

Compared to separated beasts, the unified Ten-Tails was far more valuable.

"I'll seal it away and use it as a chakra source—to cultivate more Spore Clones."

After brief thought, he made his decision—to imprison the Ten-Tails and harvest its chakra.

"Super Planetary Devastation!"

Centering on the Ten-Tails, Fugaku unleashed the most powerful Chibaku Tensei at his disposal.

The monstrous body was pulled skyward as boulders and earth tore free from the ground, forming an enormous sphere around it.

The Ten-Tails struggled violently, but it was futile.

The growing sphere soon reached several kilometers across—and kept expanding—

until it became a floating mass more than ten kilometers wide.

"Shinra Tensei!"

Fugaku pushed upward with his repulsive force, propelling the massive sphere higher and higher—toward the moon.

Once it reached a certain height, he invoked the power of the Giant Tenseigan to further pull it toward lunar orbit.

Where could the Ten-Tails be sealed most safely?

The answer was obvious—the moon.

The Giant Tenseigan, formed from the Byakugan of the lunar clan, possessed enough power to move the moon itself.

There, the Ten-Tails would remain sealed—its threat forever under control.

Unseen by Fugaku, a figure watched from the skies nearby—hidden behind layers of illusionary barriers, invisible even to Fugaku's Tenseigan.

It was a man in a white robe, his hair tied high with a braid trailing down his back.

A diamond-shaped mark adorned his chin; red earrings hung from his ears, and red rings circled his neck and wrists.

This was Cixian, the vessel of Ōtsutsuki Isshiki—his body fully under Isshiki's control.

Isshiki Ōtsutsuki—one of the original clan members who had descended to Earth alongside Kaguya.

"How unexpected… what a delightful surprise. But it's not yet time for me to reveal myself."

Cixian's eyes followed the sealed Ten-Tails being drawn toward the moon. A flicker of greed crossed his face—but he restrained himself.

He already possessed a Ten-Tails of his own, though his could not evolve into a Divine Tree since he had not yet performed the sacrificial ritual.

Originally, his plan had been to find a suitable vessel, sacrifice himself, and then be reborn anew.

He never expected that the Ten-Tails Kaguya once brought would be revived again—

a perfect opportunity to obtain a new Divine Tree without sacrificing himself.

But for now, he lacked a proper vessel. His current body could not contain his full power.

"If I tried to resurrect fully now, this vessel would die within three days…" he muttered.

"My priority is to find a perfect vessel—one strong enough to contain all of my power."

Only then would he reveal himself—

to claim the Ten-Tails, transform it into the Divine Tree,

and devour this world's life to produce a new Chakra Fruit.

Casting one last glance at the distant Ten-Tails sphere, a black portal opened before him.

He stepped through it and vanished, leaving no trace—never noticed by Fugaku.

"Seal!"

Uchiha Fugaku pulled out a sealing scroll and stored Madara's bisected corpse inside.

The Rinnegan alone was a priceless treasure—but even Madara's body held immense value.

Refining it could grant him further power.

Though he now stood as the strongest in the shinobi world, he knew there were greater threats still—

After all, even Kaguya Ōtsutsuki, empowered by the Chakra Fruit, had lived in fear of one thing—

the main Ōtsutsuki Clan.

And Fugaku was certain of one truth:

someday, the true Ōtsutsuki from beyond the stars would come to this world.
