Thud! Thud! Thud! Thud! Thud! Thud! Thud!
Bodies hit the floor like they were mere stones and pebbles tossed carelessly across the ground. Asher stood with a calm ease and overwhelming presence, his breathing steady and controlled, his body pristine and perfect as he wasn't even sweating, after all, why should he, when none of this had forced him to exert himself even slightly.
He stood like he was the only remaining warrior on a battlefield while the other students' bodies piled around him like corpses scattered across said battlefield, broken and unmoving. At this moment, he was done dealing with the weaker students as only those within the top ten remained standing.
But just because they were in the top ten didn't mean they didn't feel the pressure pressing down on their shoulders like an invisible mountain, they felt it deeply, suffocatingly, and it crawled beneath their skin like cold fingers.
