"Pppfffttt!! HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!" Asher immediately burst out laughing, his laughter echoing throughout the room as he rolled off his bed and tumbled onto the ground, continuing to laugh without restraint.
The serious atmosphere and sudden sense of foreboding the four of them had felt vanished as they watched Asher laugh like a complete idiot.
"You should see your guys' expressions," Asher laughed as he hoisted himself up, supporting his upper body against the bed while laughing even harder.
William couldn't help but sigh as he spoke, "You didn't have to take things that far. We were only joking."
Asher wiped the small tears from the corners of his eyes as he spoke, "Well, you started it first. Don't blame me because you can't match your own dark humour," he said, clearly pleased with the turn of events.
Vaelric shook his head as he spoke, "I guess we've overstayed our welcome," his tone calm as a small smile graced his lips.
