Asher could only pause before he even moved as various presences made themselves known. From the sky, numerous portals tore open as almost fifty people dropped from them, their bodies landing upon the crowns of trees, while some landed upon the boiling earth as though they didn't even notice it.
Asher remained silent for a moment.
