Darius took me to the healing spot, and there I was, lying down on the bed while the woman checked up on me. She screamed in the night, and it was very awful.
"Is she okay, please?" he asked again for the millionth time while the healer turned to him.
"She's very okay. I just need to check her vitals and some other things. I'm very much at risk to go through this. You just have to be strong, my lord," she said, but he shook his head.
"No, she's definitely not okay. She has been off all this while. Look, her eyes are weak. Her skin is no longer as red as it used to be."
"Ouch," I said, and I glared at him. As he turned to me, he sighed.
"I'm very sorry, my lord, but it's just that she is no longer herself. Something is wrong with her, and I'm very sure it is sickness," the woman said, and then she started checking my pulse one more time.
Then she made eye contact with me. She was about to talk when I squeezed her hand tight. Then she turned to Darius.
