Chapter 325: The Beginning of the Harvest of Faith

In the blink of an eye, three days had passed. Qian Renxue and Bibi Dong, having recovered almost completely, arrived at the gates of Spirit City, awaiting Mo Hui's arrival.

Following them were Golden Crocodile Douluo, Lion Douluo, Chrysanthemum Douluo, Ghost Douluo, and other Spirit Hall elders and worshippers, all filled with trepidation.

Initially, upon hearing that Mo Hui was about to take over the Spirit Hall, they were deeply reluctant. After all, how could the Spirit Hall, a formidable institution, be dominated by a mere twenty-something?

However, upon hearing that even Qian Renxue, already a god, was no match for Mo Hui, they were utterly shocked, but then they instantly accepted the reality.

Of course, there were still some stubborn individuals who failed to grasp the situation.

If such individuals were simply confused, Qian Renxue would dismiss them from their positions; if they were characterized by bad character, she would ruthlessly eliminate them.

Around noon, a flash of green light appeared, and Mo Hui appeared before their eyes, riding a Pidgeot.

"It seems you're ready," Mo Hui said, glancing at the crowd below and nodding slightly.

Then, Pidgeot descended, appearing before the Spirit Hall's ranks.

Qian Renxue stepped forward, staring into Mo Hui's eyes, and demanded, "Why did you let me go?"

Having faced Mo Hui head-on before, Qian Renxue knew that if Mo Hui had truly intended to kill her, she would never have survived.

However, upon hearing Qian Renxue's doubts, Mo Hui glanced at her and said, "Why would I kill you? Is there some irreconcilable conflict between us?"

Mo Hui had always had a favorable impression of the Spirit Hall. After all, his Spirit had been awakened by the Spirit Hall's steward, Su Yuntao, and he had enjoyed numerous benefits from the Spirit Hall.

As for the problematic conduct of some Spirit Hall personnel, Mo Hui didn't consider it a major issue.

Such people existed everywhere. Even in his previous life, where the system far surpassed that of Douluo Continent, such incidents were commonplace, let alone in the Douluo Continent, which had just emerged from slavery.

This is human nature; it can't be completely resolved; simply eliminate it once discovered.

Even when he later fortuitously clashed with Lion Douluo and Qian Daoliu, Mo Hui's perspective remained unchanged.

He saw it as a simple personal conflict, far from the point of threatening the destruction of the Spirit Hall.

His only concern was Bibi Dong's tendency to become overly sentimental, a factor that kept him wary of the Spirit Hall.

Fortunately, Bibi Dong seemed remarkably stable. Aside from destroying the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan in pursuit of her godhood, she hadn't committed any serious offenses.

Qian Renxue was taken aback by Mo Hui's words. Yes, was there some irreconcilable conflict between her and the other party?

Ever since she was summoned back, Qian Renxue had been perpetuated by her grandfather, Qian Daoliu, and the other worshippers as the greatest threat to Mo Hui's Spirit Hall, and she had never truly considered the issue.

But now that she thought about it, the conflict between Spirit Hall and Mo Hui was truly just a personal conflict between a few high-ranking officials. Mo Hui had never threatened to retaliate against Spirit Hall because of it.

"So, it's us Spirit Hall that are being overly sentimental," Qian Renxue said with a wry smile after realizing this.

But she also knew that if she were to go back to that point in time, Spirit Hall would still make the same decision.

Because the conflict with Mo Hui was with Spirit Hall's four honorific Lion Douluo and their core figure, the Level 99 Ultimate Douluo and the previous Pope, Qian Daoliu!

Spirit Hall couldn't allow these two to be killed by Mo Hui, and certainly couldn't gamble on Mo Hui's character and expect him to let them go, even if there was only a one in ten thousand chance.

Then, Mo Hui, led by Qian Renxue, arrived at the Pope's Hall.

"The Pope's handover ceremony has been prepared. If you want a simple one, it can be held now. But if you want a grander one, it will take some time, as we'll need to invite celebrities and high-ranking officials to observe," Qian Renxue explained to Mo Hui.

Bibi Dong's expression faltered upon hearing this; after all, she was now the Pope of Spirit Hall.

Upon hearing this, Mo Hui glanced at Qian Renxue and said, "When did I ever say I wanted to be the Pope of Spirit Hall?"

Qian Renxue was slightly taken aback, then said, "Are you aiming to be the Grand Priest? But even a Grand Priest wouldn't have the same control over Spirit Hall as the Pope."

The current structure of Spirit Hall dictates that the Pope holds the greatest power. While the Priests may have the power to depose the Pope, they ultimately don't hold actual control. Unless it's a matter of life and death, this power is unnecessary.

Furthermore, reality ultimately depends on strength. With Mo Hui's strength, if he became Pope, who could possibly depose him?

"Grand Priest?"

Upon hearing Qian Renxue's words, Mo Hui couldn't help but smile. "I don't worship angel gods. And given my current situation, which god is worthy of my worship?"

Mo Hui now holds three divine positions: Wind God, Sea God, and Asura God. The Wind and Sea Gods are both First-Class deities, and Asura God is a Divine King. No one in the entire divine realm holds a higher position than him.

If he wanted to worship someone, the only one who could do so would be the legendary God of Creation.

"So what do you mean?" Qian Renxue frowned slightly, puzzled.

Mo Hui: "A new Grand Judge will be appointed. This Grand Judge will have the power to dismiss and execute all Spirit Hall personnel, including the Pope. They will have veto power and can single-handedly overrule any decision within the Spirit Hall. I will serve as the first Grand Judge."

"Okay, if you wish!" Qian Renxue sighed.

This so-called Grand Judge was essentially creating a father for the Spirit Hall, but it didn't matter. Given the current situation, Mo Hui was no different from the Spirit Hall's father.

Qian Renxue and the others then followed Mo Hui's instructions and added a Grand Judge position to the Spirit Hall's system. Based on Mo Hui's unique characteristics, they also created a series of unique tokens and seals for the Grand Judge.

Mo Hui nodded as he looked at the Great Judgment Token Qian Renxue handed him. The token bore vivid carvings of Mo Hui's two Spirits, Pidgeot and Gyarados, looking incredibly imposing.

Mo Hui then pulled a stack of books from his storage soul guide and, with Feng's help, approached Qian Renxue. He said, "Please make copies of these books and disseminate them. Remember to credit the founder."

After gaining control of the Spirit Hall, Mo Hui began preparing to use this most powerful force on Douluo Continent to harvest faith.
