"So, I'm coming with?" Mira asked, hugging Ren's arm as they stood by the side of her bunk in the infirmary.
Ren sighed, shaking his head, "No, Mira, it's dangerous." He replied.
"Hey, I'm the older one, plus..." she leaned in to whisper in his ear, "I just learned that my brother is a very strong beast and has an army of Beast-bound creatures waiting for his order outside the gates. Can't you imagine what's happening, Renault? You're the boss now." She poked his sides, smiling.
Ren was exasperated. He had spent ten minutes trying to explain to his sister that something might still go wrong even though he now owned a battalion of Beast-bound creatures and his own Beast. He couldn't risk putting her in danger, too.
He had already hurt one person he loved, he wasn't going to hurt another.
"I'll take your silence as a yes –"
