The moment that devastating punch was thrown, everyone nearby felt a chill crawl down their spines.
Peter Parker and Hawkeye stood frozen, eyes wide in disbelief.
That punch… it wasn't just strong—it was a full-force blow, the kind you unleash with the intent to crush. A punch meant to end a fight in one move.
And the one throwing it?
It wasn't just anyone.
It was Abomination, the terrifying monstrosity created as a counter to the Hulk—a creature forged with violence and gamma-fueled madness.
The sight of Abomination charging with such fury made Peter and Hawkeye's blood run cold.
Even though they'd seen the blue symbiote's raw power, nothing could've prepared them for the reality of going toe-to-toe with Abomination.
"That monster..." Hawkeye whispered, heart pounding. "He's going all in."
Peter panicked. "Dad! Get out of the way!" he shouted, horror gripping his chest.
Bronski—Abomination—was not just angry. He was furious. The last time he encountered Nathan, he'd been embarrassed—knocked down and humiliated.
And now, his rage boiled to the surface, driving him to unleash everything.
Around them, military soldiers observing the scene were struck dumb with shock.
"General's orders were to take him alive!" one soldier yelled. "If he dies, we lose all our leads and the tech we were hunting!"
The troops began shouting.
"Abort! Pull back now, Abomination!"
"Don't kill him! Just detain him!"
But Abomination ignored them all. His fury blinded him.
He smirked cruelly, sneering, "I'll end you, kid—"
But then—the punch met something it shouldn't have.
Boom!
The sound echoed like a thunderclap. A shockwave exploded outward, scattering debris across rooftops and shattering nearby windows.
An invisible wall of force rippled in every direction.
And in that split second, Abomination's expression twisted—shock, pain, disbelief.
He had been stopped.
Worse—he had been overpowered.
Before he could react, his massive body was launched backward like a missile.
Crash!
Abomination's massive form smashed through the building, blasted across the air, and crashed down in the middle of a grassy field. A massive crater formed beneath him, sending tremors through the ground.
Dust billowed into the air. Birds scattered. Even the earth itself seemed to groan under the impact.
Abomination lay there, twitching slightly, his entire body aching as if it had been shattered.
The pain was excruciating. In all the battles he'd faced, not even Hulk had hit him like this.
For the first time in years, he felt fear.
Peter, still standing on the rooftop, stared in silence. His lips parted in disbelief. Hawkeye beside him was no better—his jaw slack, eyes wide.
"I… I knew my father was strong," Peter finally whispered, "but not this strong…"
He had just punched Abomination across an entire building.
Peter now realized—with chilling clarity—that their last fight was Nathan holding back. His dad didn't go all out—not even close.
"If that punch had landed on me…" he muttered, trembling. "I'd still be in a hospital bed…"
Meanwhile, Hawkeye could barely speak.
"Holy... crap," he muttered. "That's Abomination. One of the strongest things on Earth…"
"And this guy—this biologist—just launched him like a ragdoll?!"
"This changes everything."
Without hesitating, Hawkeye activated his comms.
"HQ, this is Barton. Urgent report: Richard's back, and he's stronger than anything we've seen. He just beat Abomination to a pulp. I repeat—Abomination is down."
Back in the field, Abomination groaned, forcing himself to his feet. Blood seeped from his jaw, and his body throbbed with agony. But his pride wouldn't let him surrender.
His monstrous muscles flexed, and gamma energy surged through his veins like wildfire.
"I'm not done yet," he snarled. "That was just one punch. I haven't even gotten serious!"
Boom!
He slammed his fists into the ground, exploding upward like a cannonball. Cracks spidered across the field from where he launched.
He became a blur of destruction, racing back toward Nathan.
A second clash was coming.
As Abomination soared, his gamma-amped punch coiled with fury and destruction, he roared:
"Terror!"
And then—
Clap!
The punch landed square on Nathan's open palm.
But Nathan didn't budge. Not an inch.
The earth beneath him shattered from the impact, yet he remained still—calm and expressionless.
Abomination's eyes widened in shock.
"That was… my full power…"
And he just took it. Casually.
How?!
Nathan's hand clenched around Abomination's fist like a steel trap.
"You've had your fun," he said coldly.
And then—
Boom!
One punch to the face.
Abomination's head snapped back.
Another punch. Then another.
A barrage of fists crashed down, each one shattering bone and muscle, reducing the creature to a battered heap.
Blood sprayed. Roars turned to screams.
Finally, one last earth-shaking punch landed, and Abomination collapsed, broken and barely conscious.
Nathan stepped back.
Abomination, the terror of the battlefield, now looked like a limp animal, completely subdued.
Nathan lifted him by the neck like a sack of garbage.
His voice was calm: "Perfect. I'll be taking you with me."
And then, he soared into the sky, tearing through clouds like a rocket, disappearing from view.
Everyone—Peter, Hawkeye, the soldiers—stood frozen.
Silence fell.
Then came a call.
"Did he appear?!" a voice demanded over the radio.
The soldier near the transmitter gulped. "He… he did…"
"General Ross, sir! Richard has appeared!"
Hearing the news, General Ross sprang up, fists clenched, eyes gleaming.
"Did you catch him?!" he barked into the radio.
"Abomination should've done it!"
But the soldier on the other end hesitated. "Sir… Abomination was… taken."
"Taken?! Did he run away?!"
"No sir. Richard… beat him. Beat him half to death. Then flew away with him."
Silence.
A heavy, suffocating silence settled over the communication room.
General Ross's eyes twitched. He placed a hand on his forehead and muttered, "Say that again."
The voice came through again, clearer this time:
"Richard beat Abomination half to death. Then took him."
Everyone fell silent.
Even General Ross was speechless.
But after a moment, his eyes narrowed with resolve. His voice was low, but firm: "Return to base. It's pointless now."
He ended the call.
But he wasn't done.
He turned and stormed into the lab, immediately dialing the secured line.
"Prepare the gamma experiment," he ordered.
The voice on the other end gasped. "Sir! That experiment is unstable! It's not ready—you could die!"
But Ross cut him off coldly.
"This is an order. I'm going through with it."
He hung up.
His eyes were blazing.
"If Richard, Luke Cage, and Abomination are all superior," he whispered, "then I need to become more."
He walked into the lab, his shadow stretching across the floor—a man determined to become a monster.
---
Meanwhile.
Nathan returned to his hidden lab.
He hovered down, his cloak flapping in the wind.
Inside, Abomination was strapped to a reinforced operating table, bound tightly by freshly forged vibranium chains—a material nearly indestructible.
Nathan looked down at the broken beast, now barely breathing.
"You'll be very useful," he whispered. "Time to extract your gamma secrets."
And with that…
The next phase of his plan began.
