Kai had plummeted into the deep, dark ocean, separated from his ship by the strong waves and currents. The water dragged him like a rag doll, crashing into his body, pushing him underwater, and blocking his vision.
If you had asked him one of his biggest fears back on earth, he would have said that the ocean was one of them. It was a massive body of water with creatures lurking in its depths, and a person wasn't able to breathe underwater.
But now, Kai wasn't scared in the slightest. He still admitted that the black skies and dark water were creepy, but he wasn't scared of monsters or dying. He was immortal after all. Not only that, but he was extremely powerful.
He blasted out of the water like a torpedo, rising into the air as the heavy rain beat down on his body. His hair was soaked, drooping over his eyes, and his clothes stuck to his skin.
