The Vostroyan-born Rogue Trader, after receiving a warrant of trade from Nareth, did not undertake high-risk exploration like Lewis von Valancius once did.
The stable Warp route between Mordian and Cypra Mundi was the result of such exploration.
The 3rd Chapter, setting out from Mordian and securing the Kehavoss System, continued advancing towards Cypra Mundi.
The 2nd Chapter, after the campaign in the Coronid Deeps, joined this conquest effort.
They set out from Cypra Mundi, conquered the Lumina System, and finally rendezvoused with the 3rd Chapter at Agaros.
Black warships faced each other in the void, linking directly with the primary shipyard and several top-tier worlds. Bukayo Alshavin took the initiative, boarding a Stormbird and flying to the Glory of Light.
Flagship of the 2nd Chapter, the relic-class battleship Glory of Light.
After disembarking, the Darkness Lord saw the Light Lord waiting in the landing area and walked over.
"Wilshire, thank you for your assistance."
"All for our Lord." Wilshire, who had been promoted to Sequence 7 "Solar High Priest" during the Coronid Deeps campaign, said piously.
'Wilshire is becoming more and more like the priests of ancient Terran churches described in the texts.'
After receiving their orders, the two Chapters arrived in Kalium in the 7th Month of 847.M41.
Nareth received his two Lords in the Primarch's office aboard the Shadow's Sovereignty.
Upon seeing Nareth, a light shone in Wilshire's eyes. He called out "My Lord" faster and more devoutly than Bukayo.
"My Light Lord and Darkness Lord, I hear you have just completed a successful conquest."
Bukayo initially intended to hand the briefing to Wilshire, but the "Nightmare," through his heightened intuition, sensed the Light Lord had no intention of speaking first, so he began his report.
"My Lord, after the Rogue Trader discovered the route between Mordian and Cypra Mundi, my Chapter has been fighting in this region."
Nareth nodded slightly. He knew the Warp route between Mordian and Cypra Mundi was quite stable.
Even after the opening of the Great Rift, this route, located within the Imperium Nihilus, remained relatively stable.
After the Imperium abandoned Mordian, the Iron Hands scorned the decision, believing such an industrially developed world should not be lost.
When the Iron Hands advanced into Mordian and crushed the local Chaos forces, they were reinforced by forces from Cypra Mundi.
"There are eleven habitable star systems between Mordian and Cypra Mundi. Among them, the Kehavoss System is very wealthy."
"Human colonists established prosperous settlements there, with not only fertile farmland but also abundant natural resources and a decent industrial base."
"..."
Nareth nodded with satisfaction. "Your Chapter is to develop this region well."
The fleets of the 2nd, 3rd, 5th, and 11th Chapters then proceeded towards the Kalium Gate.
The fleets entered the Gate, navigating the warp tides towards the designated rally point in the galactic core region.
....
Shadow's Sovereignty, Primarch's Office.
Arsena reported with astonishment.
"My Lord, the fleets of the four Chapters departed from the Kalium System in the northeastern Segmentum Obscurus and arrived at the Rosario System in the Segmentum Ultima in just four standard ship weeks."
"According to calculations by the Chief Navigator, the original journey would have taken twenty-three weeks."
"Even the closer fleets of the 4th and 15th Legions are far slower than ours."
Since his return to the Imperium, Arsena had accompanied the primarch on countless Warp voyages, but never had he seen such speed.
Nareth nodded slightly and said, "Currently, only one pair of stations is repaired; the acceleration effect is limited."
"As more paired stations are repaired, the reduction in travel time will become dramatically greater."
He had anticipated this, thinking to himself:
'If ground vehicles are measured by 0-100 km/h acceleration, the Kalium Gate's acceleration of Warp travel can be measured by 0-100 light-year acceleration.'
'However, the greater the value of the Kalium Gate, the more it will attract attacks during the Heresy.'
In Nareth's original memory, the Kalium Gate could only perform one-way deployment, yet it still attracted enemy attacks.
Now, with numerous Teleportariums, the Kalium Gate could achieve a degree of two-way travel, increasing its value further.
'After the Second Rangdan War concludes, the Ramilies-class Starforts must begin reinforcing key star systems like Vostroya.'
'Strategic locations like the Kalium Gate and Cypra Mundi will require at least six Starforts each.'
As Nareth pondered, Arsena continued reporting.
"The Mechanicum fleet will arrive in four standard ship weeks."
"Among the first shipment are one hundred and fifty-eight suits of Cataphractii Terminator Armor, all supplied to our Legion."
"The Mechanicum will dispatch Magos Malevolus and others involved in researching and fabricating the Cataphractii pattern to assist the Legion in producing Cataphractii Terminator Armor."
Nareth nodded and issued commands.
"The first batch of Cataphractii Terminator Armor is to be assigned to the 2nd Chapter."
"Once the Mechanicum personnel arrive, have the Techmarines cooperate with the forge worlds to master their manufacture."
'With Cataphractii Terminator Armor, casualties in assaults on Squat underground cities will be reduced.'
"How long until the Ramilies-class Starforts under construction at Calth and Ganfall are completed?"
Arsena pondered for a moment before replying:
"My Lord, although Calth's shipyards began construction earlier, Ganfall has a better foundation and is catching up."
"The first Ramilies-class Starfort from Ganfall will be completed in five years. The first Starfort from Calth will require twelve years to complete."
"The third Ramilies-class Starfort being built at Cypra Mundi will be completed in one month. If needed, it can be towed first to the Kalium Gate, then rapidly deployed to the battlefield."
Nareth knew that Ganfall, not renamed Konor by Guilliman, was called the northern center of the Five Hundred Worlds.
Calth only grew to become a shipyard on par with Konor just before the Heresy.
'Although the galactic core region has harsh living conditions, it also produces many ores found only here.'
'A small base could be established here. Protected by fortress-grade void shields, life for those living inside a Ramilies-class Starfort wouldn't be too bad.'
'Long-term trade could also be conducted with the Squats; they have quite a few good things.'
Ramilies-class Starforts were too massive to pass through Teleportarium, but the Kalium Gate, capable of transporting entire fleets through the Warp, could deploy them to the battlefield.
Nareth reined in his thoughts and issued the command.
"Squat is the central system. We must rapidly establish dominance. The third Ramilies-class Starfort being built at Cypra Mundi is to be towed into the Kalium Gate and deployed to Squat."
"Before the Starfort arrives, the objective is to capture the Rosario System, gain a foothold, and open the gateway to Squat."
The seven hundred and fifty ships of the four "Shadows of Order" Chapters participating in the campaign launched their attack against the void ships of the Squats.
