Chapter 633 - Chapter 632: The Slaaneshi Greater Daemon Loses Aeldari Souls and the Serpent's Cradle

Nareth gripped the Dionysian Spear. Light and shadow flickered in his eyes.

Light and shadow, like the poles of a magnet, drew the Warp energy of the sixth planet.

The Slaaneshi greater daemon let out an uneasy hiss, its slender necks twisting together.

A shadow fell over its beautiful face. Its eyes fixed on a mass of destructive energy, rapidly expanding from a small, colorful orb into a majestic storm.

"Fool, I will feast on your delicious soul." Its razor-sharp claws were coated in bright, colorful paint.

BOOM!

The greater daemon's exquisite claws struck the telekinetic shield.

The sudden explosion swept up over a dozen daemons, their pale limbs, adorned with ornate decorations, torn apart in an instant.

Nareth retreated through the blast, raising his hand to hurl the Dionysian Spear.

The greater daemon retreated in terror, its bloated body surprisingly agile.

In a single second, it twisted dozens of times.

Each twist changed its direction.

Each twist carried it several kilometers.

Its terror grew. The blazing light drew closer.

SSSS...

Terrified hisses echoed on both sides of the veil.

In the Empyrean, the storm swallowed tens of thousands of suffering souls from the bloated body, ending their miserable existence.

On the sixth planet, amid the thunder, jewels shattered. The imprisoned victim souls were crushed in the lightning.

The storm then shattered the false halo, tearing apart the greater daemon's beautiful body.

The Primarch keenly perceived that the purple light surging across the planet had dimmed slightly.

It shifted from deep purple to a lighter purple.

He looked up. His gaze pierced the transparent window to the Warp.

The mountain-sized, coiled body still writhed.

Nareth's wings beat, flying towards the Dionysian Spear. He thought to himself.

'The greater daemon's connection to the Serpent's Cradle is not severed. The twin stars must contain something that allows its power to seep into reality, creating a close bond.'

'To sever its connection, I must destroy whatever is there.'

'But it has consumed countless Aeldari, making it powerful. I must weaken it first, make it sufficiently weak.'

As he thought, he reached the chasm.

He was about to dive down, to retrieve the spear, when he smelled the thick musk.

From the purple light, a viscous body rapidly reformed.

The reformed greater daemon was noticeably smaller.

It was as tall as sixty men, its bloated body slightly shrunken, adorned with only a thousand jewels.

It swung its semi-living whip. The writhing whip lunged like a python.

'The body destroyed by the Dionysian Spear reformed so quickly?' Nareth wondered.

Light and shadow flickered in the Primarch's eyes. He withdrew from the Thelema mindstate and ascended to the eighth level of the Enumeration.

The Warp gate not only allowed the greater daemon to descend, but also allowed him to wield far greater psychic power than usual.

He lowered his head. The golden light gathering in his throat burst forth.

The golden griffin dove, howling, slamming into the greater daemon, whose curved claws had just struck the ground.

Golden light pierced the veil, striking the twisted, coiled body.

As Nareth liberated tens of thousands of souls, he dove.

Wind howled. Heat rushed at him. He saw the Dionysian Spear, lodged diagonally in the rock face.

He flew, grabbing the spear, gliding to avoid the ornate scimitar.

His power gauntlet blazed with golden light. He twisted, punching aside the swinging claw.

He watched the greater daemon, now as tall as forty-nine men, its jewels reduced to hundreds.

Its four arms swung simultaneously. Its ornate weapons scraped, tearing the rock face.

Rocks of various sizes fell, hurtling towards Nareth.

He thrust his hand upward. Telekinesis hurled countless rocks, 'hammering' the greater daemon's body.

Seizing the moment, he hurled the spear, infused with psychic energy.

It pierced the greater daemon's body in an instant, screaming upward.

Nareth followed, bursting from the surface. He was about to fly to the stars when a thought struck him.

'The twin stars are opposite each other.'

'The destroyed body quickly regenerated.'

'Perhaps there is a mystical connection between them. Both must be destroyed simultaneously.'

As he thought, he saw Freddy and John.

Telekinesis enveloped them.

He flashed, stepping onto the 'Infinite Gate' corridor, rising rapidly.

With a thought, the Flame Ring appeared in his hand.

Not long ago, Santiago, the "Scribe," after completing his "Recording," had offered the ring back to him.

Nareth raised his hand, placing the ring in John's paw.

Simultaneously, golden living metal rapidly spread, covering his body and black armor.

In three breaths, he stood on the corridor, reaching Serpentis Beta's orbit.

His consciousness expanded, piercing the scorching flames, sensing the hissing evil.

On the sapphire-like star's surface stood a twisted, coiled purple structure.

Made of some crystal, it writhed like a serpent, emitting a piercing hiss.

With a thought, he made Freddy and John understand his plan.

Simultaneously, he raised his hand. Telekinesis surged, enveloping them.

A telekinetic hand hurled the wolf and gyrinx into the 'Infinite Gate's' non-material corridor.

As he turned and stepped, John and Freddy, sliding, reached Serpentis Beta in an instant.

The non-material corridor isolated the star's real-world flames.

Black mist rose. Freddy manifested his mythical form.

Eight-legged, he stood in the air. Darkness enveloped the serpentine structure, gleaming with purple light.

The writhing structure, as if petrified, fell silent.

The "Calamity Priest's" psychic energy surged, penetrating the star's surface.

A blue pillar of fire erupted. Simultaneously, his remaining psychic energy poured into the burning ring in his paw.

The gyrinxt's body instantly became a blazing flame.

At the same moment, the Primarch stepped onto the 'Infinite Gate,' arriving above Serpentis Alpha.

The Burning One fragment, enveloping him, blazed with golden flames.

The "Mentor of Disorder" dove, howling. The twisted serpentine structure, in the "Chaos," coiled together.

The gathered golden light burst forth. The golden griffin dove, howling, at the serpentine structure.

The Primarch keenly perceived the thunderous roar echoing both inside and outside the veil.

On the sixth planet's surface, the reformed greater daemon, now only as tall as thirty-six men, its jewels all shattered,

swung its arms in frustration, letting out a long, piercing shriek. It had lost all the Aeldari souls it had consumed.

Its connection to the twin stars was severed.

The transparent window rippled and slowly faded. The greater daemon's body dimmed.

Piercing shrieks echoed across the sixth, first, second, and third planets.

The purple light faded. Blue light bathed the system.

Nareth felt something dissolve within him. His body, mind, and spirit seemed refined.

'Combined with prior acting, my digestion has reached two-thirds. The tenth layer of the Kingdom of Disorder has unlocked.'

A thought flashed through his mind, but he had no time to perceive the change.

Riding the aftershocks in the Sea of Souls, he stepped onto the 'Infinite Gate' corridor, appearing in Serpentis Beta's orbit.

Black mist flickered in his hand. He sent Freddy, his fur ablaze, and John, back to cat form, into the Kingdom of Disorder.

He raised his hand again. The banner shaft appeared.

The "Red Priest's" uniqueness in hand, the approaching blue flames parted like gentle seawater.

His golden wings beat. He flew rapidly from Serpentis Beta's orbit.
