First of all, thank you to everyone who stayed and read all 27 chapters of this story. Whether you've been here since Chapter 1 or found this story recently, I appreciate every read, vote, comment, and moment you spent with it.


I know the ending may feel sudden, and I'm sorry for that. The truth is, this was the only ending I could bring myself to write. It isn't a happy ending, and I know bad endings aren't for everyone, but it felt like the most honest conclusion for the story I wanted to tell.


I also want to mention that Chapter 27 is the first and only chapter I've ever written that contains explicit content. In fact, this is the first time I've included anything like that in any story I've made. I'm not really a fan of writing those kinds of scenes, so stepping out of my comfort zone for this chapter was honestly a little scary. 😭


This story wasn't perfect. There are definitely things I could have written better, planned better, or expanded on. Still, I'm proud that I managed to finish it. From the first chapter, through the special chapters, all the way to the end, this has been a journey I'll remember.
