"You fool! Didn't I tell you to stay out of the dungeon for now!? You could've died!" shouted Karmac, slamming his fist on the table so hard the old wood creaked.

Damien just scratched his head. "Sorry? I mean… I'm here, right?"

"Don't get cheeky with me," snapped Karmac. "Did you really beat a Level Two?"

"I mean, yeah… I had to," said Damien, shrugging casually.

Karmac rubbed his temples, muttering under his breath. "Oh no… this might be troublesome."

"Yeah," said Damien, leaning back on his chair. "I didn't expect the Guild to leak that stuff out like that. Guess I'll have to stay low for a while."

"Indeed!" barked Karmac. "At least you have half a brain under that adventure-filled skull of yours! The major Familias will do anything to get you now — and some will steep low for it. When the Ganesha Tournament ends next week, pick a strong Familia. One that can protect you."

"Relax," said Damien, waving him off. "I got it covered. I'm just gonna grind in the dungeon a bit until things cool down."

"You fool!" shouted Karmac again, his voice echoing through the small house. "You want to go back into the dungeon as a Falna-less human?! That's a death wish! You think the Guild can protect you there? There won't even be witnesses if something happens!"

Damien smirked. "Don't worry about it, old man. I've got something that'll help me hide for a while."

Before Karmac could reply, Damien turned and left — grinning like a man who had just unlocked a new toy.

Because, well… he had.

A satisfied smile graced Tsubaki's lips as she presented the twin blades. "There you go. What do you think?"

Damien accepted the daggers, and his eyes widened as their stats materialized before him.

[Nameless Mithril Daggers

"Wow… You made me Mithril Daggers?" he breathed, his voice full of awe. He turned the weapons over in his hands, admiring the craftsmanship—the beautifully painted red edge contrasting with the stark black spine, the grip a perfect blend of red and black.

Tsubaki raised an eyebrow, a flicker of professional pride in her eyes. "Oh? You could tell it's Mithril just from a look? You might actually have a future as a blacksmith. Why don't you join us?"

Damien offered her a casual but determined smile. "Sorry, Tsubaki, but I don't want to be a blacksmith. The blood in me seeks deep adventure in the dungeon! I wanna reach the end."

The words were simple, but the conviction behind them was absolute. As he spoke, his eyes seemed to blaze with a genuine light, reflecting the boundless depths he longed to explore. Tsubaki found herself staring, her breath catching in her throat. A warm blush crept up her cheeks. She was admiring his desire and confidence, startled to find herself so attracted to a man younger than her.

Flustered, she waved a hand toward the door, turning away to hide her heating face. "Alright, get out of here! I've got… uhm… work to do!"

Damien nodded, his mind already halfway to the dungeon. "Oh, sure, yeah! Thanks, Tsubaki!" he called as he jogged towards the exit. Just before the door closed, he tossed one last, casual comment over his shoulder that shattered her composure completely. "Oh, and you look beautiful tonight! Bye!"

Click. The Door shut

The words hit Tsubaki like a physical blow. Her legs gave way and she collapsed into her chair, a deep, burning blush spreading across her face. The workshop was silent, but her heart was pounding in her ears.

A slow, warm dampness began to bloom between her legs, a shocking and undeniable reaction. Almost in a daze, she slid a hand into her pants, her fingers meeting the undeniable, sticky wetness of her own arousal.

She pulled her hand back, staring at the glistening proof. "That... just one word from him and..." Her breath hitched. A low, shaky laugh escaped her lips as she leaned her head back and licked her fingers... "Wow... Yeah,I think I'm touching myself tonight."

...

Inside the dim halls of the dungeon, Damien walked with his map in hand, his boots echoing faintly on the stone floor. The air was thick with mana, and faint blue particles drifted like ash. His eyes stayed sharp, tracking the path ahead until he reached a dead end—a wall that looked just a little too perfect.

"Well... I guess that's to be expected," he muttered, rubbing his chin. "Now let's see what this thing can really do."

He reached into his inventory and pulled out the Dungeon Key (E) a small black key carved with strange glowing runes that pulsed faintly with crimson light. The moment he brought it out, the air before him shimmered, and a transparent door began to appear out of thin air. It wasn't made of glass or stone—just pure, humming energy forming a frame where there should've been none.

Damien smirked."A dungeon inside a dungeon, huh? Now that's interesting... Bet the gods would lose their minds if they saw this."

He slipped the key into the invisible keyhole—there was a faint click followed by a low, vibrating hum. The door opened soundlessly, revealing only darkness beyond. Without hesitation, Damien stepped through.

Instantly, the air shifted. It still looked like the dungeon—same rock walls, same dim glow—but everything felt heavier. The silence pressed against his ears. Even the mana in the air felt... denser.

Then he heard it.A faint pad-pad-pad of feet moving over stone.

He tightened his grip on the Mithril daggers, crouched slightly, and listened. The footsteps turned into a low growl—three of them, surrounding him.

From the shadows emerged three wolves, each nearly as tall as Damien himself. Their eyes gleamed with faint red light, and steam puffed from their nostrils with every breath. Their fur looked coarse and metallic, their fangs dripping with a black, oily venom.

Damien exhaled slowly, blood pumping faster through his veins. His heartbeat synced with the echo of their growls.

"Oh... now this," he whispered, a grin forming on his face as he twirled his daggers and slipped into stance. "This is what I call a real challenge."
