Guts walked forward in silence, his steps slow but steady, until he reached a spot that felt right for what came next.
"Hmmm…" He stroked his chin, squatted down, and pressed his fingers to the surface of the moon. After a moment, he shook his head, dissatisfied, and stood again.
Taking a few more steps forward, he tried once more. This time, as his hand touched the lunar ground, a grin spread across his face. He nodded in approval.
Turning back, he gave Hinata and Shisui a casual thumbs up before facing forward again, his grin widening.
Raising his hand high, crimson energy wrapped around his palm, mixing with the hard black sheen of Advanced Armament Haki and the raw magical force borrowed from Issei Hyoudou's power.
He didn't channel his Conqueror's Haki infusion this time. He wasn't aiming for destruction—Advanced Armament would be enough.
With a calm motion, he lowered his hand, fingers spread, pressing it firmly against the moon's surface.
Closing his eyes, he focused. A heartbeat later, his eyes snapped open, flashing crimson. His lips curled into a grin.
"Disassemble."
BOOOOM.
CRAAAACK.
RUMBLE.
The entire moon shuddered. From the point beneath his palm, the surface split apart as if reality itself was cracking open.
A jagged line spread outward, the ground tearing and crumbling under the force.
And then...
BOOM!
A deafening blast rang out as the crack erupted, and a hole the size of mountains ripped open clean through the moon's center.
From space, it looked as though the lunar sphere had been punched straight through, the stars visible from one side to the other.
Guts had carved a colossal tunnel through the moon itself.
Chunks of stone and rubble floated, drifting toward Earth but before they could fall, they froze in place.
Hinata's eyes blazed as she unleashed the gravitational pull of the Tenseigan, while Shisui's newly awakened Rinnegan flared, stabilizing the collapsing debris.
Guts nodded approvingly, the corner of his mouth twitching into a grin.
But his expression hardened suddenly...instinct kicking in as he dodged a sharp wooden spike that flew past him.
It slammed into the moon's surface, detonating with such force that an entire boulder disintegrated.
"That's quite rude, don't you think… Kaguya Ōtsutsuki?"
His eyes shifted toward the figure emerging from the void.
Hinata and Shisui froze at the name, instantly turning their attention to the overwhelming presence before them.
A woman materialized, her long, white hair cascading down her back like a silken river.
Her pale skin glowed faintly in the starlight, her eyes...the Byakugan blank yet piercing, as though nothing could escape her gaze.
Upon her forehead, the Rinne Sharingan shone ominously: a crimson eye with rippling rings and tomoe, radiating impossible power.
She wore flowing white robes adorned with tomoe markings along the sleeves.
Her aura was calm, yet suffocating, her presence one that belonged not to a person, but to something otherworldly... divine.
The Rabbit Goddess herself—Kaguya Ōtsutsuki.
---
The void twisted. Kaguya lifted her pale hand, and in an instant the space around Guts warped like a shattered mirror.
Hinata and Shisui vanished from his sight...left behind on the moon while his body was pulled into another dimension.
When the world settled, he stood alone. The ground beneath him was a barren desert, endless dunes stretching beneath a sky of molten fire. The heat licked his skin like a furnace.
"…Ah. So you want a private match, huh?" Guts cracked his knuckles, unimpressed. "Good idea. Less distractions this way."
Kaguya floated above, her expression blank, almost doll-like. Yet the pressure in her gaze was suffocating, her Rinne Sharingan glowing like a crimson sun.
Without a word, countless sharpened bones erupted around her, raining down in a storm.
Ash-Killing Bones.
Each one carried the power to erase existence itself—yet when they struck, they shattered harmlessly against the jet-black sheen coating Guts' skin.
"Advanced Armament, sweetheart." Guts smirked, brushing dust from his shoulder where one of the bones had grazed. "Your hacks don't work on me."
Kaguya's face remained impassive, but she shifted, opening a portal. The desert melted away, replaced by a frozen wasteland.
Blizzards howled, glaciers rose, and spears of ice rained down in waves.
Guts didn't move. His body shimmered with Armament Haki as the storm tore around him, not a scratch landing.
With a casual swing of his fist, the entire blizzard split apart, a hurricane-like shockwave tearing the frozen dimension in two.
"Too cold." He cracked his neck. "Next."
Her eyes narrowed. A ripple spread, and the scenery shifted again. This time, an endless sea stretched around him, waves rising like mountains, a black void swirling beneath the surface.
Kaguya raised her hands, and the ocean itself surged upward, a towering tsunami aimed to swallow him whole.
Guts' grin turned wolfish. He crouched slightly, muscles coiling, Haki flooding his fists. Then he leapt.
His punch crashed forward, wrapped in Advanced Conqueror's Haki, and the entire ocean split apart—torn into two halves that never touched again. The void beneath boiled from the impact.
Kaguya's eyes trembled. For the first time, she felt something foreign. Doubt.
She wanted to ask "How?" but bit it back. She realized this man… this human… was beyond her.
Then she changed the dimension once more.
The gravity weighed like mountains. Stone pillars cracked and collapsed under their own mass, but Guts stood unfazed, his crimson aura burning against the oppressive pull.
Kaguya's blank expression returned as she tried to appear calm, though her chakra flared wildly.
Bone spears erupted again, raining down in a deadly storm. Ash-Killing Bones.
They shattered harmlessly on Guts' body, his form coated in Advanced Armament Haki infused with Ryuo. He brushed the dust from his shoulder.
"Try harder."
In an instant, she blurred from sight—her body vanishing into a rip of warped space. She appeared behind him, silent and deadly, her hand aiming to pierce straight through his back.
But Guts didn't even turn. His hand shot back, catching her wrist mid-strike.
Her eyes flickered in shock.
Observation Haki had seen it all.
"Cute trick," he muttered, yanking her forward with brutal strength until they were chest to chest, face to face. His grin widened, teeth bared.
"But not cute enough."
WHAM.
His fist sank into her stomach.
The impact folded Kaguya in half, her body jerking as the air escaped her lips in a sharp gasp.
For the first time, the Rabbit Goddess bent over in pain, her stoic mask cracking.
"Better stay upright," Guts mocked, patting her head like a child. "Otherwise, people might think you're weak."
He shoved her back casually, his aura flaring hotter, crimson arcs of power tearing through the gravity field itself.
Kaguya steadied herself, breathing sharp, her robes fluttering under the pressure he radiated. Her eyes narrowed, finally betraying something—wariness.
"Who… are you?" Kaguya Ōtsutsuki finally asked. She couldn't comprehend how someone with no bloodline of her own could reach such strength.
Was he, like her, someone from another world? An alien to this one?
"Oh? Do I make you curious? That's not a good thing, you know. Haven't you heard the line—curiosity killed the cat?" Guts tilted his head.
"…"
Kaguya's expression dulled. She wasted no words. Her sleeves flared, and countless chakra arms erupted, clawing through the air to seize him.
"Eighty Gods Vacuum Fists." Her voice was soft, yet edged with irritation.
Guts exhaled lazily, fists tightening.
"Really? Grabbing hands? What are you, a pervy ghost?"
He swung once. Conqueror's Haki burst out, shredding the chakra arms into nothing, their substance collapsing under the weight of his will.
Kaguya pressed on... her body dissolving into space before reforming above him. Her palm glowed with the power to absorb chakra, and she aimed straight for his chest.
But when her hand struck, nothing. His body was wrapped in such dense Armament Haki that her technique couldn't drain a drop. Instead, sparks snapped across her hand, burning her palm.
"Trying to steal my chakra?" Guts smirked. "Sorry, lady. That's not possible."
He caught her wrist, twisted, and hurled her down. Gravity itself amplified the blow, cratering the entire floor of the dimension as her body slammed into it.
Guts' grin faded into something colder. He wanted to break her spirit... to make her truly believe nothing she did could touch him. Only then could his plan move forward.
Kaguya lay in the crushing gravity, reeling from the impact, her mind wavering. For the first time in her long existence, the thought of running away flickered through her.
She realized he wasn't even serious. He was playing with her. And that meant she had no chance of winning.
Her eyes flickered, resolve wavering, and the thought of retreating took hold.
But as she prepared to shift the space and escape, she failed to notice Guts' eyes glowing red. He had already foreseen it.
The future unrolled before him... her pathetic attempt to flee. It almost made him laugh out loud.
'She thinks she can run? As if I'd let her.'
"Domain Expansion: Overlord."
He stomped the ground. A shockwave of Conqueror's Haki exploded outward, cracking the dimension for miles, walls of crimson will forming a barrier.
Kaguya's Byakugan widened... the first flicker of true panic as she felt her authority ripped away.
Her control of the dimension was gone, her chakra pathways trembling under the crushing dominance of his will.
