Hinata fidgeted, fingers tangled in her robe as she stared at the futon. Her breath was soft, uneven, and her chakra flickered like a nervous flame.
Hanabi, in contrast, sat straight-backed, lips pressed in a thin line. She glanced at her sister, then at the supposedly "sleeping" Guts, her eyes narrowing just slightly.
The silence dragged on... too awkward.
Finally, Hinata gathered her courage. She leaned forward, whispering, "Guts-sensei… are you awake?"
"…No." His deadpan reply came immediately, eyes still closed.
Hinata flinched, her face turning bright red. Hanabi sighed through her nose, clearly unimpressed.
"You could at least pretend better, sensei," Hanabi muttered. "You're terrible at this."
One of Guts brows twitched. "…Terrible at what exactly? I was asleep just fine until two brats decided to hold a midnight conference on my futon."
Hinata panicked, waving her hands. "N-no, it's not like that! We—uh—um…" Her voice trailed off, unable to explain, and her eyes darted toward her younger sister as if begging for backup.
Hanabi, of course, didn't spare her. She crossed her arms and stated flatly, "We came here to talk."
"Talk," Guts repeated, finally opening one eye, glowing faintly in the lantern light. He let the word hang, then sighed. "At this hour? In my room? While I'm trying to sleep?"
Hanabi didn't answer right away. Instead, she gave a small, deliberate nod in Hinata's direction.
Hinata's eyes widened. "Eh? Me…?" But her little sister's stare was firm, leaving no room for escape.
Swallowing hard, Hinata shifted forward, her face crimson. Before Guts could so much as grunt in protest, she leaned down and pressed herself against him.
Her soft, warm body pinned his face awkwardly, her arms wrapping around his head like a lock.
"I–I got you, Sensei!" she stammered, voice high and shaky. "Y-you can't move until… until the next part—!"
Guts' muffled voice came out flat from beneath her. "...The hell is this?"
Hanabi crossed her arms, dead serious despite the ridiculous scene. "Restraint technique. Step one complete. Now it's my turn."
Hinata squeaked, realizing what she had just blurted out, and her blush only deepened.
Guts, meanwhile, lay there with a twitching brow, caught between irritation and the absurdity of the situation.
"…Out of all the battles I've fought, this is easily the dumbest ambush yet," he muttered under his breath.
Hinata still clung tightly, her face buried and red enough to glow.
Hanabi, however, wasn't done. Without hesitation, she shifted forward and climbed onto the futon herself.
Before Guts could react, she planted herself firmly on top of him, straddling his torso with the practiced calm of someone who'd already made up her mind.
The sudden weight pressed down hard, and her posture left little room for him to move.
But what caught him off guard wasn't the restraint—it was the unmistakable softness pressing against him.
Guts' eyes snapped wide open, glowing faintly in shock. His instincts screamed that this was no ordinary "ambush."
"…Oi," he muttered, voice low. "This is going in the wrong damn direction."
Just as Guts was about to sit up and shove both sisters off with a growl, Hanabi's voice cut through the air.
It was steady at first, calm on the surface but he caught the faint choke beneath her tone, the tremor that betrayed her composure.
"I know, Sensei," she said, eyes lowered. "We found out… you're planning to go somewhere soon."
Hinata's arms tightened around him, her expression full of uneasiness.
Hanabi drew a deep breath, her expression hardening into something braver, yet carrying a trace of sadness. "We really couldn't hold back anymore."
Then, with a sudden clarity, her eyes met his. She leaned closer, lips parting as if the words had been waiting for years.
"I have loved you for a long time, Guts-sensei."
The declaration hung in the air, quiet yet powerful. A charming, bittersweet smile touched her face, her resolve framed by the faint blush on her cheeks.
Guts froze in place, he wanted to move but his body refused. His mind stilled, caught completely off guard.
Confusion clawed at the edges of his thoughts. Deep down, he knew she wasn't lying.
And whether he wanted it or not, part of him felt responsible... responsible for the feelings that had grown in these girls because of his presence.
Guts remained frozen, unable to form a reply. But before he could even gather his thoughts, another trembling voice joined in.
Hinata.
Her eyes glistened as she looked straight at him, her hands trembling against his chest.
"Sensei… I… I feel the same." Her breath caught, but she pushed on, her words carrying a raw sincerity.
"Thank you… for all the care you've shown me over the years. For always being there… for never giving up on me."
Her lips trembled into a faint, bittersweet smile. "Before I even realized it… I had fallen for you."
The confession struck deeper than any blade.
So that's what it was, Guts realized, his eyes narrowing slightly. That feeling I had when I first met Hinata a month ago… Hanabi's strange behavior, the way she watched me. It was all leading to this moment.
He let out a long, helpless sigh.
Before Guts could even gather his thoughts, Hanabi leaned down suddenly, her lips pressing against his.
His eyes widened in shock, the world freezing for an instant. The kiss started soft... hesitant, almost trembling but it carried a weight of years worth of hidden feelings.
Guts stiffened, caught completely off guard. His mind screamed to pull back, to stop this but the sincerity pouring from her made his body refuse to move.
Then Hanabi deepened it. Her kiss grew rougher, more desperate, as if afraid he'd slip away if she let go.
At the same time, her body pressed closer, her soft curves shifting against him with boldness that made his chest tighten.
Guts breath caught in his throat. This girl…!

Guts let out a long breath, his body relaxing at last. He wrapped his thick arms around both women, pulling them close against him.
Almost instinctively, their limp bodies clung to him in return. Hinata's delicate fingers curled weakly into his chest, while Hanabi's arm draped across his waist as if even in unconsciousness they refused to let him go.
For a long moment, Guts just lay there, staring up at the dim ceiling. Their warmth pressed against him from both sides, their soft breaths brushing his skin.
"…So." He smirked faintly, though his voice carried a weight of thought. "How the hell am I supposed to explain this to the others…?"
A dry chuckle escaped his throat, low and humorless. Yet, despite the chaos in his head, his body eased.
The futon creaked as he adjusted slightly, tightening his hold around the two sleeping girls.
Their warmth, their trust...even their stubbornness had defeated him.
His eyes closed slowly, his breathing deepening as sleep crept in.
--
In the afternoon, the setting sun went down.
Guts sat atop the Hokage Rock, looking over Konoha below.
Bathed in golden light, the village looked almost otherworldly — a rare, fleeting beauty.
"Sensei, do you like this view too?"
Shisui's voice rang out from behind. He walked over and stood by Guts's side.
His eyes glowed with an unspoken menace...one the Sharingan that had once been Sasuke's, the other a Rinnegan transformed under the hand of the Sage of Six Paths.
For a while, Shisui struggled to accept them… but eventually he came to terms with it.
According to him, he couldn't return them even if he wanted to... so instead, he chose to see the world through them. For Itachi's sake.
"Too small…"
Guts suddenly smiled as he spoke.
Shisui raised his brows, not quite understanding what he meant.
Before he could ask, Guts continued.
"This world… is too small for me."
Shisui was taken aback. For a moment he thought Guts was simply expressing the loneliness of someone who had climbed too high, someone who stood alone at the peak. He gave a faint smile.
"I understand. Once you reach the top, it's natural to feel lost, right, Sensei?"
But Guts only shook his head. He rose to his feet, still smiling.
"Hahaha… maybe."
He didn't say more. Deep inside, he felt like a bird in a cage. If he were like Shisui and the others unaware of other worlds... perhaps he could have been satisfied.
But he knew better.
He knew there were countless other worlds out there. Different lands, different stories. Adventures waiting.
And he longed for them.
It felt almost like destiny...as if he had inherited the blood of the Monkey D. family, chasing adventure just like Luffy himself.
"Sensei… is everything okay?" Shisui asked when he saw Guts fall silent, lost in thought.
"Hahaha, of course. What could possibly happen to me?" Guts laughed in his usual carefree way.
Still, he remembered what had happened that morning… and his expression twitched, caught somewhere between annoyance and a warm smile.
The "morning event" was really the same headache that had been gnawing at him for days how the hell was he supposed to tell Tsunade and the others about Hinata and Hanabi?
Even for someone like him, who could laugh in the face of gods, the thought made his stomach twist.
He paced back and forth like a trapped beast, rubbing the back of his neck, muttering to himself.
"Damn it… how do I even start? 'Hey, honey, by the way, I picked up my old student and her sister too … tch, I'll get turned into paste before I finish the sentence."
Just imagining Tsunade's fist descending was enough to make a bead of sweat trickle down his temple.
And then, as if fate itself wanted to mock him, he caught sight of Hanabi standing nearby.
The girl's shoulders trembled, lips twitching, clearly trying and failing to hold back her laughter.
Guts froze. His expression flattened.
"…Oi. Don't tell me you're planning something again."
That tiny spark of mischief in her eyes said everything.
He closed his eyes, inhaled deeply, and let out a long sigh. When he opened them again, the anxiety was gone replaced by his usual carefree grin.
If Hanabi thought she could rattle him, then he'd just bulldoze right through it.
"Hah. Fine then," he muttered, stretching his shoulders. "I will just go ahead and do it."
And with that, Guts straightened his back, strode forward, and charged straight toward home... like a man walking into the lion's den with a smile on his face.
---
When Guts stepped through the door of his home, he didn't waste a second.
No excuses. No stalling.
He planted himself in the middle of the room, arms crossed, and spoke with the bluntness of a man ripping off a bandage.
"I'll say it straight. Hinata and Hanabi… I've taken them too."
The words dropped like thunder.
For a moment, the whole house went silent.
No shouting. No flying fists. No angry glares.
Just silence.
Guts's carefree expression faltered. He glanced around nervously, his throat tightening.
"…Oi. You're not saying anything. That means you're angry, right? Listen, I can explain—"
"Dear."
Kurenai's gentle voice cut him off. She smiled softly, her tone calm and steady.
"We already knew. Hanabi came to us before all this… and we agreed."
"…Huh?"
Guts blinked, caught completely off guard.
Anko leaned forward with a smirk, resting her chin in her hand. "What, you thought we wouldn't notice?"
"It was obvious those two had feelings for you for years. Honestly, I'm glad you didn't let them down. Would've been cruel otherwise."
Mei chuckled, her smile full of mischief. "In fact, I gave Hanabi a lot of advice myself."
She winked playfully, the glint in her eyes making it very clear what kind of "advice" she meant.
Guts's jaw twitched. He didn't even want to imagine what sort of wisdom Mei had passed on.
And then Tsunade finally exhaled, pinching the bridge of her nose.
"Hah… I already saw this coming. You've always been a damn chick magnet, Guts. No point pretending otherwise."
Her golden eyes narrowed, carrying just a hint of menace as they locked onto him. "But hear me... don't you ever let them down. Not them… not us. You've been carrying all of us for years now."
She paused, and despite the steel in her words, the corner of her lips curved into a faint smile.
"And… you've done a damn good job of it too."
No matter how sharp her tone was, the love in her eyes was impossible to hide.
And then
"Pfft—HAHAHAHAHA!"
From behind him, laughter rang out.
He turned to see Hanabi leaning casually against the wall, arms crossed, grinning from ear to ear.
"So worth it," she said between laughs. "That expression you just made...priceless!"
Hanabi's laughter filled the room, echoing like she'd just pulled the greatest prank of her life.
Guts just stood there, stunned. His face twitched, his brow jumped, and a vein pulsed at his temple...the perfect picture of a man caught between annoyance and defeat.
"…Tch. Unbelievable." He dragged a hand down his face, half-grinning despite himself.
In the end, he couldn't even muster real anger. Only helpless amusement.
"You rotten brat."
Just then, Guts noticed a familiar figure half-hidden behind Hanabi.
Hinata.
She timidly poked her head out, her cheeks flushed pink. Her lips parted, trembling as if she wanted to call him Sensei out of habit… but she stopped herself. Their relationship wasn't that anymore.
Mustering every bit of courage, she whispered, "G-Guts… I didn't mean to hide it. I just…"
Her hands fidgeted nervously, fingers tangling together as she tried to find the words.
"I just… didn't know how to say it…"
Guts looked at her for a moment and then chuckled softly, his expression easing into a warm smile.
"Don't worry, Hinata. I already know."
His tone was gentle, reassuring… before he suddenly stepped forward and smacked Hanabi lightly on the head with a playful bonk.
"…And I know exactly whose fault this is."
"Ow! Hey! Why only me?!" Hanabi yelped, clutching her head as she pouted up at him with mock outrage.
"Because you always stir the pot, brat," Guts said, smirking.
Hinata covered her mouth, trying to hide her shy giggle, while the other wives just shook their heads knowingly.
---
That memory of the morning lingered in his mind... and the laughter of all the women who'd somehow accepted him no matter what.
Guts let out a long breath, the sound carried away by the wind brushing over Hokage Rock.
"…Tch. Although I'm glad it all went well," Guts muttered with a crooked smile, the words slipping out to himself.
He had already said his goodbyes to his wives and children. Though reluctant, they accepted it in the end, knowing it would only be a month or so before he returned.
Still, they didn't let him off easy. The children had made him promise that they would only forgive him if the "surprise" he mentioned turned out to be worth it.
Guts carried no doubt in his heart. Once he came back and brought them all into the One Piece world, there was no way they wouldn't be shocked.
He could already picture their faces... a mixture of awe, wonder, and the kind of excitement only adventure could bring.
