As Eleanor went past the two princes, Rowan was still contemplating the former's earlier words.
"Adopting a few dogs?" Rowan knitted his brows. "Does she like dogs? How come there was no information about that?"
'You dumb battle maniac…' Sylas resisted the urge to curse him aloud.
He knew this brother of his was gullible, but even this was quite the extreme.
That so-called blind strategist had indirectly addressed them as dogs who could be adopted and trained into submission.
Sylas facepalmed and whispered, "I think it's because the Crown Prince behaves like an irrational dog. So the strategist was talking about adopting Leonard and training him to become a good boy."
Realization quickly dawned upon Rowan.
"I see." He clasped his hands and nodded in agreement. "I still don't get why Father would appoint him as the Crown Prince. What rights does he have?"
