A few minutes later, Amelia pondered over the recruitment offer.
She understood that while Seth might appear calm and rational, her refusal would most likely mean death.
There was just too much valuable intel revealed to her.
And the best way to ensure information won't leak ever was a dead person.
The dead cannot talk, or at least that was the common concept in many people's eyes.
"How do you know I won't harm the Crown Prince?" Amelia asked. As someone known to be close with Bea, it was hard to imagine that they would still wish to recruit her to be in close proximity with Leonard.
"Because you aren't foolish." Seth flatly replied.
"Fair enough!"
Sometime later, Amelia received a magic contract which listed the clauses.
The overall clause was that she had to serve as Leonard's servant during his academy days. In return for her effort, they would divulge information about the investigation details to her, essentially telling her who caused Bea's death.
