Today was a completely ordinary and routine day for team 7. It had been exactly one week since Sora had officially joined the team, and ever since they had completed that very first mission together, they had developed a strategy where they would send out shadow clones to handle and complete the various missions that came their way, while the actual team members themselves stayed behind and dedicated their time to intensive training and skill development.
Sora had taken it upon himself to personally teach and instruct the team in various techniques and strategies. Kakashi, who was originally supposed to be the one doing the teaching and instruction, didn't actually have any opportunity or chance to fulfill his role as a teacher since Sora had already jumped in and taken care of everything before Kakashi could even begin to do so.
Sora had already committed to memory and memorized every single ninjutsu technique that could be found in the extensive library that genius-level shinobi are granted access to. And because of the vast amount of knowledge and techniques he had acquired, his overall arsenal of abilities was quite powerful and formidable. However, most of the techniques and jutsu that he had studied and learned, he had not yet fully mastered to their highest level of proficiency, primarily because there was simply too much material and too many different techniques to fully master all at once.
As of this current moment in time, he had made the decision to practice and train each individual jutsu only to an adequate and functional level of competency, doing this specifically and solely for the purpose of being able to help and support his team members in their own development.
Sora stood directly in front of the members of team seven, positioning himself as their instructor. While the four other individuals sat down on the ground before him, he cleared his throat and began speaking to address them.
"As of this moment in time, our collective power and abilities have reached the point where we are now capable of taking on and successfully completing higher rank missions that are more challenging and demanding," he said with confidence. "I'm genuinely happy and pleased to say that all of you have improved and developed your skills quite quickly and at an impressive pace."
Kakashi sat there among the rest of them and couldn't help but feel like he was occupying more of a position as a student learning from others rather than fulfilling his designated role as a teacher who instructs and guides.
But he wouldn't complain or voice any objections about the situation. After all, he gets to enjoy free meals without having to pay for them, and he doesn't actually have to take on the responsibility of teaching since Sora already possesses and knows enough jutsu techniques to handle the instruction himself. However, Kakashi eventually plans and intends to teach Sasuke his personal signature jutsu technique at some point in the future.
He had already previously taught Sora the chidori lightning blade technique, and remarkably, Sora had gone on to create and develop some innovative variations and modifications of that jutsu that even Kakashi himself was genuinely surprised and impressed by.
Flashback
A year ago in the past
Sora and Kakashi stood facing each other in the open training ground, preparing themselves for what was about to unfold.
"Are you ready and prepared to begin?" Kakashi asked while getting himself ready and settling into his fighting stance.
"I'm ready and prepared," Sora replied with determination and got into his own corresponding fighting stance.
Instantly and without any hesitation, Sora entered and activated his lightning flash armor technique and immediately disappeared from view in a brilliant flash of incredible speed and movement.
Kakashi quickly activated his shadow clone jutsu technique and summoned two additional copies of himself. The three versions of Kakashi turned their backs to each other, forming a defensive triangle formation, and carefully watched and observed as Sora rapidly moved around the training area at blinding speeds.
They could barely manage to keep up with and track how incredibly fast Sora was moving and traveling around them, but they made absolutely sure to keep their eyes wide open and alert for any sudden change in direction or movement pattern that might signal an incoming attack.
Kakashi knew and understood that this particular jutsu technique had not yet been fully completed and perfected and was still in an imperfect state of development. At the very most, Sora could maintain and use this jutsu for approximately 10 minutes of continuous time until he would need to deactivate it and exit the technique.
He just needed to hold out and endure for that duration of time. Then suddenly and without warning, Sora dashed in directly toward them at extreme and incredible speeds. Kakashi had been mentally prepared and ready for this moment and had already prepared his own counterattack in advance.
He and his shadow clones all simultaneously released and launched a huge fireball jutsu straight at Sora, who was now only just a few meters away from their position.
Sora in turn swiftly and gracefully dodged each individual attack one after another in rapid succession and continued moving forward toward his target without breaking stride.
Kakashi lifted up his headband that covered his left eye and revealed his sharingan eye technique underneath. The intensity and difficulty of the fight got significantly more intense and challenging as they continued to battle and exchange attacks with each other.
Kakashi knew and was acutely aware that he had to carefully manage and use his chakra reserves wisely and efficiently since his sharingan eye technique was consuming and taking a lot of his available chakra energy.
9 minutes had passed by and elapsed, and Kakashi was getting increasingly more confident about his chances of victory. It was only a matter of time and patience before he would finally gain and obtain the advantage in this confrontation.
But then something unexpected happened that he absolutely didn't anticipate or expect to occur. Sora suddenly formed and created the chidori lightning blade technique in his hand. But that development alone wasn't what particularly surprised Kakashi since he himself had been the one who taught Sora the jutsu technique in the first place.
But what truly shocked him was the fact that the chidori lightning began to move around and swirl in unusual patterns and then changed its shape and form into something different, and if that remarkable transformation wasn't enough to be surprising, Sora then threw a punch at the empty air, aiming and directing the attack straight at Kakashi's position.
The chidori lightning left Sora's hand completely and traveled independently through the air, moving towards Kakashi at absolutely astonishing and breathtaking speeds. Kakashi's eyes widened dramatically in shock and surprise, but despite his amazement, he still managed to react and respond to the incoming threat.
He slammed his head backward with force and dodged the attack by bending his entire body back at an extreme angle. Then he steadied himself and regained his balance and composure. His eyes remained full of shock and genuine surprise at what he had just witnessed.
"Sora, you... you actually managed to improve and enhance my chidori technique," Kakashi said with a mixture of disbelief and admiration in his voice.
Sora simply nodded his head in acknowledgment and confirmation, and the lightning flash armor technique that had been surrounding his body dissipated and faded away completely.
Flashback end
" before we proceed with that particular matter, we have a very severe and significant problem that needs to be addressed and dealt with immediately," he said with a serious tone in his voice.
The other team members paid extremely close attention to what he was saying. They hadn't managed to identify or find any particular problems or issues up to this point so far, and they genuinely wanted to know and understand what he was referring to.
"You are all—fundamentally and completely stupid," he said bluntly and directly.
They absolutely froze in place at his harsh and unexpected words. The statement was so completely unexpected and shocking that they still hadn't fully comprehended or processed what he had just said to them.
"Naruto, you're far too brash, impulsive, and naive in your approach to things," he said while looking directly and straight at Naruto with an unwavering gaze.
She stayed completely silent and didn't say a single word in response.
"Sasuke, you are far too emotional and allow your feelings to control your actions. Though I genuinely understand and sympathize with your particular situation and the circumstances you've been through, you still absolutely need to have significantly better control over your emotions and reactions. I won't attempt to stop you from pursuing your goals, but if your behavior ever jeopardizes or puts the team in danger, then I will have absolutely no choice whatsoever but to force you to leave and depart from the team permanently." He added with finality.
Sasuke grit his teeth tightly together, understanding fully and acknowledging that what Sora had said was completely true and accurate.
"Sakura, when it comes to anything involving Sasuke, you consistently fail to make clear, rational, and logic-based decisions," He said while addressing her directly.
Her face reddened noticeably in embarrassment and shame, and finally he turned his attention to Kakashi. Kakashi gulped nervously. He didn't actually think or expect that Sora would have something critical to say to him as well, but he made the guess and assumption that it would probably just be some light and gentle words of criticism.
"Kakashi….you're honestly a bad teacher who doesn't fulfill his responsibilities properly, you can't communicate effectively or properly with others, you're incredibly lazy and unmotivated, you read far too much smut and inappropriate literature—"
"Ok, I completely understand what you're saying," he said quickly, feeling deeply embarrassed by the criticism.
"It's very good that you understand and acknowledge these issues," he said and then turned his attention back to address the whole entire group collectively.
"Some things and habits can be changed and improved upon, and some things simply can't be altered. But I genuinely want and expect all of you to make a sincere effort to try and get rid of your bad habits and problematic behaviors." He said firmly.
They all nodded their heads in agreement and acceptance. He then clapped his hands together decisively.
"Alright, since we're completely done with that particular discussion and have covered everything that needed to be said, let's go ahead and start on the actual training exercises and practice." He said with renewed energy.
"Sakura, since you have accumulated enough chakra reserves to be able to summon a shadow clone successfully, I want you to summon them right away and start training immediately. Use the clone specifically to gather and accumulate chakra energy, and when you eventually run out of chakra completely from your medical ninjutsu training, disperse and release the clone in order to get the clone's accumulated chakra transferred back to you. Repeat this entire process over and over again since you desperately need to expand and increase your overall chakra pool capacity right now," he said with clear instructions.
She nodded in understanding and did exactly as she was told without hesitation. He then turned his attention to Sasuke.
"As for you Sasuke, I want you to continue and keep meditating consistently and regularly. Your emotions absolutely must be brought under control and managed properly," he said and then turned his focus to Naruto.
"Naruto—you need significantly better control and management of your chakra. Your absolutely huge amount of available chakra reserves is certainly a great boon and advantage for you to have, but as of this current moment you waste an enormous lot of chakra energy using even normal and basic jutsus because you cannot efficiently and properly control your chakra flow." He said clearly.
She nodded in acknowledgment and he finally turned his attention to Kakashi.
"You're already an experienced and accomplished jonin level shinobi, so I have absolutely nothing new to teach you as of this current now. Do whatever you want and feel is necessary, but make absolutely sure to train regularly and consistently," he said and then walked away from the group.
Kakashi just stayed there in his position, watching him leave and walk away into the distance.
"Sigh, becoming a jonin instructor and taking on this teaching role was probably a bad idea and decision on my part." He muttered quietly to himself and began his own training routine, trying hard to remember and recall exactly what Sora had done with the chidori technique.
As Sora departed from the training ground and made his way away from his teammates, his mind began to turn and focus on various plans and strategies for the future. He had come to the realization and understanding that he wanted and needed to start making money and accumulating wealth.
In this particular world that he found himself living in, he knew and understood fully that it was fundamentally run and controlled by two primary things: power and money. And he thought to himself, why should he settle for having just one of these valuable resources when he could potentially have both of them at the same time?
He considered and contemplated the possibility that he could try to make and create games from his previous past life, but as of this current moment and time, the technology in this world isn't sufficiently advanced enough to support those kinds of creations. However, he realized that he could still make and produce board games, which didn't require advanced technology. That particular option was definitely one viable and practical way to make money and generate income.
But that alone and by itself wasn't going to be enough or sufficient for his future plans and ambitions. He remembered and recalled something that people absolutely loved and cherished in his past life, and that particular thing was music.
From his previous past life, there was something specific that made so much money and generated such enormous profits that even he himself was genuinely surprised and amazed by it. It was none other than a band or musical group. But not the traditional type of band with drums and guitars and other instruments.
But rather the boy bands and girl bands that were so incredibly popular. The ones that can dance and sing and perform choreographed routines together. He smiled to himself with satisfaction at the thought.
He knew exactly and precisely what to do and how to proceed. He currently had 3 million ryo available to him. And with that substantial amount of money, he planned and intended to buy a building and establish a business where he could start selling board games from his past life to customers.
Though that wasn't going to be the main plan or primary focus of his business venture. He went directly to the clothing store and bought multiple different clothes and outfits.
Then he carefully put them all into a sealing scroll for convenient transport and storage, and headed straight to a specific building that he had in mind. Upon entering the building, a worker walked up to him to greet him.
"Hello sir, what can I do for you today," she asked politely with a professional smile on her face.
"I want to buy a shop or building," he said clearly and directly.
She froze momentarily from his unexpected words. Sora was still only twelve years old, so it must have genuinely surprised and shocked her to hear such a request from someone so young. Nevertheless, she kept her calm and pleasant smile and remained completely professional in her demeanor.
"May I know what your budget is, sir?" She asked courteously.
"Three million ryo," he said without hesitation.
She nodded in acknowledgment and understanding, and led Sora away from the entrance and toward her private office. As they walked together through the building, Sora could clearly notice and observe multiple other similar rooms and offices along the way.
Arriving at her office, they both sat down comfortably and she began showing him various pictures and images of each available building on the market. But Sora already had his eyes set on one specific building in particular that he wanted.
He had come across it and seen it some time ago during his explorations, and waited patiently for her to finally reach and show him that certain property.
Just a few moments later, an image and photograph of that particular building appeared among the options she was showing him. He immediately pointed directly at it without delay.
"I want this one specifically," he said with certainty and confidence.
She nodded in understanding and started filling out and completing a form with all the necessary information. And then she passed the completed form to him for his review. He grabbed a pen and began writing down his personal information in all the required fields.
After it was completely done and filled out, she put an official seal on the document to make it legally binding.
"The deal is complete and finalized. You now own this building officially and legally," she said professionally and passed him a folder containing multiple documents and papers proving and verifying that the property was his.
He nodded in satisfaction and acknowledgment, and left the building where he had completed the transaction. He walked directly to the building that he had just purchased and stopped right in front of it to observe it carefully. It was a one story building with a simple design. It was completely empty inside, but the place had just been recently built and constructed, so that was precisely why he had wanted and chosen it.
Walking inside the empty building, he stopped and paused for a moment to take in his surroundings. He had spent almost all of his available money and funds on purchasing this building. Now he only had 100,000 ryo left remaining. He summoned and created his shadow clones, and then took out multiple sealed scrolls that he had prepared in advance.
He threw them onto the ground in front of the clones and spoke clear instructions to them.
"Start making and creating the board games immediately," he said with authority.
The clones nodded in understanding and agreement, and each grabbed a scroll and began taking out wood and various materials that were needed to make and construct the board games.wood and various materials that were needed to make and construct the board games.
