Aiden stood before the tent, with Mimi and Nessa pressed close against either side of him.
His arms rested around their waists, drawing them snugly against his sides. Each girl had one hand placed over his chest, their fingers curled lightly into his clothes as they leaned into him.
Aiden glanced toward the tent's entrance.
"So…" he began, looking at Mimi. "Your mama is inside?"
Then he turned to Nessa.
"And your mommy and grandma are in there too, right?"
Both girls nodded in unison, pressing a little closer.
Mimi tilted her head, a playful smile tugging at her lips. "We already told them we married you—and that you want to marry them too."
Nessa giggled. "They were really surprised. Even more when they heard you wanted to marry them as well."
"Were they?" Aiden asked, raising an eyebrow.
"They were hesitant at first," Nessa admitted. "But we told them you don't take no for an answer."
