JARVIS had recorded Marcus's fighting style and was now assisting Tony to mimic those movements. With JARVIS's help, Tony appeared to have mastered Marcus's techniques.
But how could Marcus be defeated by his own fighting style? Especially when executed with the mechanical precision that Tony and JARVIS displayed.
As the burst of energy approached, Marcus prepared his defense, already planning to counterattack the moment he deflected the energy.
Before Tony could react, a heavy punch sent him flying backward.
"Using my moves against me? You're just a qualified punching bag now."
After this mocking comment, Marcus's hands pulsed with energy.
A vortex-like force spread outward, and Tony—who had been blown away—suddenly felt himself pulled back as if by an invisible hand.
Void Fall
This was one of the Vazarin School's abilities, which could draw targets within Marcus's perception range toward him. Tony's helpless movement was the result of Void Fall.
Tony felt like a marionette on strings, jerked back and forth at the puppeteer's whim.
CLANG
With one final punch to the nano suit, Marcus smiled lightly and dismissed his Iron Hook Gauntlet.
The test was complete. Tony's nano-suit had performed admirably in all aspects. Now Tony only needed to focus on developing weapons and upgrades to continuously improve his combat effectiveness.
Both Tony and Dr. Cho were satisfied with the nano-suit's performance. It represented the best equipment they could manufacture with current technology. The design would likely remain unchanged for some time.
"You still have much to learn, Tony."
Shaking his head, Marcus returned to his room.
Besides observing Tony apply nanotechnology to his battle suit these past few days, Marcus had also conducted research on the Vazarin School.
As a healing-focused discipline, Vazarin offered impressively powerful recovery and defensive capabilities.
Beyond the Void Fall he had just demonstrated, he could also create a shell that absorbed attacks into a shield, and even charge through enemies using Void Dash to heal allies around him.
These abilities perfectly reflected Vazarin's nature—a water-based school specializing in recovery and defense.
Walking into his room, Marcus summoned a rapidly rotating sphere in his palm. As it spun, everything in the room began to tremble, objects seemingly drawn toward the sphere.
"Ha, now I can cosplay as Naruto Uzumaki."
With a smile, he waved his hand lightly. The sphere instantly dissipated, and the room settled back to normal.
In recent days, he had grown familiar with the Vazarin School. Though he had only a preliminary grasp of its various abilities, the results were already impressive.
"I wonder what changes will occur as I master these schools further."
He looked forward to discovering the full extent of his power once he mastered these abilities completely.
But such thoughts were premature. He still had a long journey ahead in developing these skills. His most pressing concern was shaping new Warframe.
Between the Destroyer and Mjolnir, he had directly obtained fourteen Aya Stars. Combined with the five he already possessed, he now had nineteen Aya Stars—enough to shape three different Warframe while retaining one in reserve.
With enough material for multiple specialized Warframe, he could now choose based on functionality rather than limitations.
After careful consideration, Marcus formulated a plan.
He selected several different Warframe models and placed them on his mental waiting list.
"For speed, Volt and Gauss excel. They're worth considering. For underwater combat, Hydroid and Yereli would be ideal candidates. As for the final armor, should I chose Wisp or Nekros?"
This was his candidate list. Each would help maintain his combat effectiveness at a high level across different scenarios.
All six armors had unique advantages and disadvantages, making the decision difficult. He couldn't settle on choices immediately.
After lounging on the sofa for some time, Marcus finally decided to first build Hydroid [Storm Waves]—a battle armor specialized for aquatic combat.
There was a practical reason for this choice: he lacked any Warframe optimized for underwater warfare.
Compared to the alternatives, Hydroid was better suited for aquatic battles. Though Yereli [Surge Spirit] offered comparable combat effectiveness, the versatility of Hydroid [Storm Waves] made it the superior option.
The room filled with light blue energy as Marcus transformed into a cocoon of energy, waiting to shape his new form.
As time passed, water vapor in the room became increasingly dense, the entire space growing extremely humid.
CRACK
With the sound of the energy cocoon breaking open, the water vapor quickly condensed and gathered around Marcus.
He now resembled Davy Jones from Pirates of the Caribbean, with numerous tentacles like octopus arms extending from his form.
"So this is Hydroid's water control?"
The power exceeded his expectations. He could sense a terrifying sea monster within the Warframe, as if ready to emerge at any moment.
"Is that the great kraken?"
As he spoke, a sphere of water condensed in his hand. Soon, a tentacle protruded from the water.
The tentacle was transparent like the water itself—looking closely, it resembled a ghost within the liquid.
"I wonder what would happen if the sea monster were completely released."
Hydroid [Storm Waves] could summon sea monsters, though typically only parts of these creatures emerged—most remained hidden in the deep.
Retracting the tentacles, Marcus returned to his original form.
Only then did he realize how damp the room had become. His clothes felt instantly soaked, clinging uncomfortably to his body.
"Note to self: never use Hydroid in the bedroom again."
Keeping this lesson in mind, Marcus began shaping his second armor.
This time he chose Volt. Though he liked both Volt and Gauss greatly, after careful consideration, Marcus selected Volt for its area-of-effect attack capabilities.
While Gauss was certainly fast, its versatility couldn't match Volt's.
"Gauss will be next time."
As he spoke, Marcus's body was enveloped in another energy cocoon formed from Aya.
As a Warframe specializing in lightning control, Volt's abilities were naturally impressive, offering excellent adaptability across various combat scenarios.
