The artificial sun would be a signal of the Osborn Group's return to prominence, and Harry didn't want any more problems.
"No, I'll take all factors into consideration. The Osborn Group will receive the most profitable returns from the next experiment."
As he spoke, Dr. Otto glanced at his wife beside him. He was confident he would succeed in the next experiment.
Just as they were talking, a burst of sparks suddenly appeared in the air, drawing everyone's attention. These blue sparks appearing out of nowhere—everyone knew something unusual was happening.
As time passed, a portal wreathed in blue sparks opened, and the transformed Wisp appeared before everyone.
For a moment, everyone froze in place. They hadn't expected to see armor with no feet, floating in mid-air.
Most importantly, this armor had an elegant design that looked almost feminine.
After a long silence, someone in the crowd exclaimed.
"My God, what is that? An alien?"
This was the first reaction in many people's minds. Not only could it appear out of thin air and float in the air, but there was no similar armor design in recorded history.
"Did you get all of that on film?"
The reporter asked the accompanying cameraman in a low voice. This was big news—news that could definitely cause a sensation.
The cameraman smiled and gave a thumbs up. He'd been filming the whole time and had captured the entire scene.
"Oh, what is that thing?"
Peter, who had rushed back, was seeing Marcus floating in the air for the first time. He was very confused about where this floating armor had appeared from.
"Haha, it just showed up out of nowhere! I've got video!"
Harry smiled and threw an arm around Peter's neck, clearly excited.
If the artificial sun might cause controversy around the world, then this mysterious armor would definitely make the world go crazy.
After all, mysterious armor that suddenly appears and doesn't exist on Earth was always more captivating than scientific theories.
Just as they were talking, Marcus, suspended in the air, made a move. He turned slowly and looked at Dr. Otto and his wife.
"Your artificial sun was excellent. I enjoyed it very much!"
Marcus's voice emerged, altered by void energy to become two strange voices mixed together—one high and sharp, the other low and muffled.
These two voices blended together made him extraordinarily mysterious.
"Um..."
The reporter raised his microphone toward Marcus, but didn't know what to call him.
"My name is Wisp. What's the matter?"
"Wisp, hello!" the reporter said loudly. "Excuse me, are you an alien? How long have you known Dr. Otto?"
A series of questions fired out of the reporter's mouth like bullets. These were questions everyone cared about.
Even Harry Osborn, heir to the Osborn Group, was no exception. He was just as concerned about these issues. Both he and Peter looked at Marcus nervously, waiting for his answer.
"Me? I'm really not from this world. As for Dr. Otto, we just met a few minutes ago, after the artificial sun malfunctioned. It was a delicious little sun—I enjoyed it very much..."
Marcus began spinning tales, mischievously pretending to be an alien and making these people think he'd used the artificial sun as food.
The people around him didn't disappoint. The moment they heard that the artificial sun was "delicious," the crowd erupted.
While they didn't know much about nuclear fusion, as participants in the experiment, they still understood the energy that nuclear fusion could release.
This armored alien had actually treated the artificial sun as food, which meant nuclear explosions were nothing more than meals to him.
"Well, now that I've given my thanks, I should go."
With those words, Marcus's form began to fade and gradually disappeared from everyone's sight.
He had already extracted seven Aya Starss from the artificial sun. Now he was only twelve Aya Starss short of building another warframe.
And he should think about which armor to craft next.
Shortly after he left, the whole world was buzzing. Video of the alien appeared on websites across the globe.
It showed strange armor with an elegant figure. Its lower legs had no feet—instead, they looked more like thrusters emitting blue flames.
Everything about the armor—how it appeared, its design, what it said—became research targets for alien enthusiasts worldwide.
Some people studied the armor's style. This elegant, almost nun-like design made them think that beings from this alien armor's world had visited Earth before.
Others studied how the armor appeared and left—a portal prototype with blue sparks, which might be ultra-long-distance travel technology mastered by aliens.
Still others studied the armor's words. From Marcus's statements, they analyzed that the armor might be a life form that fed on nuclear energy.
Of course, besides these alien enthusiasts, some people online thought it was a composite image. But after extensive analysis, everyone reached the conclusion that this video hadn't undergone any processing.
This situation sparked countless people's imaginations. Could aliens really have appeared on Earth?
The whole world had been mobilized, and even Dr. Otto's nuclear fusion research attracted many people's attention.
This made Harry very excited. The more attention they got, the more the Osborn Group could return to glory—maybe even become better than before.
Compared to their excitement, Marcus was back in his hotel room, thinking about which armor to build next.
"This time, I can only craft one armor. How about Mag ?"
This armor, like Excalibur and Volt , was one of the three starting options.
It was the only battle armor he had left from that set, and he didn't have any particular needs anyway, so he might as well make it sooner rather than later.
After deciding, Marcus was enveloped in an energy cocoon surrounded by Aya Stars. As time passed, all the metal objects in the room slowly began to float.
Crack
The moment the energy cocoon shattered, all the metal objects fell down and returned to normal, while Marcus had transformed into Mag , which harnessed magnetic field energy.
"Speaking of which, Eric also masters magnetism. His huge magnetic ring in Cairo was really a masterpiece."
Marcus thought of Magneto Erik, who also controlled magnetism. The magnetic ring Erik had controlled back then was truly impressive.
Recalling Erik's grand display, Marcus raised his hand slightly, and all the scattered metal objects flew up and returned to their original places.
"Well, this really is cool. No wonder Erik's called such a showman, haha..."
Just by gently raising his hand, everything around him could return to its proper place. This feeling of controlling everything was truly amazing.
