"Stop!" Marcus roared as he leaped toward the airships.
The energy under his feet quickly gathered as he launched himself upward, and even the power empowered by the crimson force burst forth in a spectacular display.
Rhino Trampling!
BOOM!
With a thunderous roar, Marcus stepped hard onto a Razor spacecraft with devastating force.
The spacecraft collapsed instantly under Marcus's feet, but because of the special temporal effect of the rhino trampling ability, the ship became suspended in the air, still maintaining its original appearance despite being completely destroyed.
In addition to the Razor spacecraft directly under Marcus's feet, several other ships were also frozen in place by the ability's area effect.
Like the spacecraft serving as Marcus's platform, they were all suspended motionless in the air, unable to move or respond.
However, because of the crimson force's participation in this attack, these spacecraft that were trapped in temporal stasis became like the ship under Marcus's feet—they were all being shattered into debris from the inside out.
After a few breathless moments, the space that seemed to be frozen in time suddenly resumed its normal flow.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
All the spacecraft that had been suspended in the air exploded simultaneously, shocking the Asgardian army and Fandral who were still fighting on the ground below.
"This guy is still incredibly powerful!" Fandral exclaimed, amazed by the display.
This kind of overwhelming force was something he had only seen from one other person besides the God-King Odin himself.
CRASH!
While Fandral was processing what he'd witnessed, the ground shook again as Marcus, having eliminated the flying Razor spacecraft, fell from the sky.
Under Marcus's feet, the already cracked ground began to collapse further.
"The blessing of the crimson power on strength is impressive," Marcus observed, "but the destructiveness is really terrifying."
With a sigh, Marcus released the fusion with the crimson power. This empowerment definitely couldn't be permanent—otherwise every step he took would cause massive collateral damage.
Seeing that the surrounding spacecraft had been destroyed, Fandral gave orders to the Asgardian army, then walked toward Marcus.
"I remember that you didn't use this armor during our last encounter," Fandral observed.
"Of course not," Marcus replied with a nod. "I used Atlas when fighting the Destroyer last time. This one is called Rhino ."
These two power armors had their own specialized focuses.
Atlas was primarily designed for offensive assault, while Rhino was optimized for defense and overwhelming force.
Looking carefully at the silver-gray metallic skin covering Marcus's body, Fandral asked curiously, "Isn't this the original appearance of your armor? I can see some brown and yellow areas mixed in."
"That's right, this is just a layer of tempered skin," Marcus explained. "It's used to resist attacks and absorb damage."
Responding to Fandral, Marcus looked up at the Razor battleship that he had deliberately spared and was preparing to claim.
Judging from his current armor configuration, it was unlikely he could capture this Razor battleship without significant damage. After all, the Dark Elves wouldn't simply watch him commandeer their flagship.
BOOM! BOOM!
Just as he was considering his options, there was a flash of thunder in the sky, accompanied by two lightning bolts striking the ground. Odin and Thor had arrived at the battlefield, and even Tony, who had been providing support elsewhere, came over to join them.
"Oh, you did this to all the debris on the ground?" Tony asked, looking at the shattered remains of the Razor spacecraft.
Tony's gaze fell on Marcus with obvious disappointment. These had been excellent research specimens, but Marcus had blown them up and turned them into scattered debris.
"It was just a kick," Marcus said with amusement, "but those things were too fragile anyway. You can focus on this big razor instead!"
Marcus was determined to claim the battleship for himself.
"By the way, Thor, have you extracted the thing from Jane yet?" Marcus asked.
"No!" Thor shook his head grimly. "The Aether particles have a strong self-defense capability, and Asgard's doctors can't even touch Jane's body."
"Forget it, I'll have Tony study it later," Marcus said with resignation.
Marcus was frustrated that the Aether particles couldn't be extracted immediately, but he knew that Tony had the capability to solve this problem. In his memories of future events, Tony had created a device to extract Aether particles. Marcus believed that if given sufficient time, Tony could break through the defense mechanism of the Reality Stone.
"Hey! Why are you throwing this problem at me?" Tony protested the sudden assignment.
But Marcus ignored Tony's complaints because the weapon systems of the Razor battleship in front of them were beginning to charge up.
"Stop them!" Odin commanded urgently. "The current defense barrier can't withstand artillery fire of that magnitude."
The moment he saw the weapon systems activating, Odin made a critical assessment that the fragile barrier couldn't withstand such concentrated firepower.
As he spoke, Odin raised Gungnir in his hand, and countless golden lightning bolts gathered around his spear as his power began to increase.
In fact, Odin could choose a faster method—using the Rainbow Bridge to destroy the battleship. After all, in addition to its teleportation function, the Rainbow Bridge was also Asgard's most powerful weapon, capable of easily destroying an entire planet.
But this was Asgard itself. If the Rainbow Bridge were used at full power, it would be easy to cause collateral damage. Not only would the battleship be destroyed, but Asgard would also suffer enormous damage.
Therefore, Odin could only choose this more conventional method to fight back.
However, Odin's current strength was only a tenth of what it had been at his peak. He had needed to enter Odin's Sleep to restore his power a year ago, but because of various unexpected crises that kept occurring, he could only delay it again and again.
Seeing Odin's obviously diminished performance, Marcus's body began to change, and his originally powerful arms suddenly became very slender and ethereal.
These were the arms of Wisp. Marcus had originally not intended to use this armor that could disrupt dimensional boundaries.
But the strength shown by Odin was obviously insufficient. Odin might be able to persist through one or two attacks, but if the battle dragged on, Odin's effectiveness would diminish rapidly.
At the moment of transforming into Wisp's arms, Marcus had an additional empowerment crystal in his hands.
"The Light of Destruction can borrow the power of Asgard to increase destructive potential," Marcus thought to himself as the empowerment completed its fusion.
"Odin, you should command your army to defend," Marcus said. "I'll deal with this warship."
Marcus's arms began emitting fluctuations from dimensional space. He was going to use the ability of Wisp —the Gate of the Sun.
BOOM!
A red beam of destructive energy shot out from the main cannon of the Razor warship. The fluctuations emitted by the beam told everyone that the already fragile defense barrier couldn't withstand such an attack.
Gate of the Sun
Just when everyone thought resistance was impossible, Marcus's hands, which were emitting dimensional fluctuations, unleashed a devastating beam of concentrated solar energy.
The Gate of the Sun literally meant opening a portal to the sun in front of him and channeling the star's power into a focused attack.
Of course, this wasn't a simple energy transfer, but rather a concentration of solar energy, compressed and refined into a beam with curved solar flares that could annihilate anything in its path.
Such destructive power was absolutely incredible, and coupled with the amplification effect brought by the Light of Destruction empowerment, Marcus not only blocked the beam shot by the warship but also launched a devastating counterattack.
The two beams met in the air between them, creating a spectacular light show as energies from different dimensions clashed. But Marcus's solar beam, enhanced by Asgard's divine power, quickly overwhelmed the Dark Elf weapon.
The concentrated solar energy tore through the Dark Elf beam like it was nothing, then continued its path directly toward the Razor battleship.
Everyone watching held their breath as the beam of stellar fire approached the massive vessel, knowing that they were about to witness the complete annihilation of the Dark Elf flagship.
