Lux spoke while working. "My terms are simple."
Adrian blinked, still not fully recovered from watching contracts float like obedient ghosts.
Lux continued, "I will take a share of this project."
Adrian's attention snapped back. "How much?"
Lux did not look at him. "Enough to make intervention worth my time, not enough for you to accuse me of stealing your family legacy when I fix what your people failed to fix."
Celeste's eyes narrowed slightly.
Lux's hand moved through another interface. The model on the table glowed, sections lighting up in phases. "I will also put in a small investment. And," Lux added, "Naomi will hold the name."
Naomi looked at him.
Adrian's brows drew together. "What?"
Lux finally paused.
Only for a second.
Then he turned his head and looked at Adrian directly. With warning. "The stake, the structure, and whatever name I choose for my involvement in this project will be Naomi's."
Adrian's expression shifted.
