After reviewing the plan,they all came to an agreement. Luckily, she had hidden many silver taels close to a thousand in the bag she always carried with her. This spared her the suspicion and served as a decoy. Mu Wei accompanied her as the went to find boss Chu. On their way, she mapped out the plan on the snow planning to find paper and ink to draw a proper blueprint.
Mu Wei looked at her in amazement and curiosity at her ingenious idea. She was indeed a brilliant and beautiful lady. Once again, he felt useless and only relying on his wife. Perhaps sensing his thoughts, she leaned in to whisper,
"Don't feel down. I have a lot of work for you soon. I assure you, you're going to be so busy your feet are hardly touching the ground"
She giggled and walked forward. After standing there in a daze for a minute, he chuckled before quickly catching up. Once they arrived at boss Chu house, they were ushered inside by Wei. Boss Chu seemed to be reviewing some books. His bald hair was particularly eye catching. He looked up at them and ushered a chair,
"Do sit down"
As the casually settled down. He cut straight to the chase.
"What services may I offer you?"
"I want to buy land"
Boss Chu looked surprised. He knew that the couple looked capable but he didn't expect them to be so formidable.
"Alright. How many mu do you require and which site?"
"Does anyone have access to the land at the mountain side?"
Boss Chu was a shrewd man. He understood immediately what they needed. Although he was surprised they would choose such a worthless land, he would never refuse silver.
"Of course not. The land is unclaimed at the moment. But I must warn you, the spot is terrible due to the harsh mountain winds and heavy snowdrift. It's also prone to attack from wild beasts"
He added insincerely making no attempt to hide the mockery in his gaze.
"We have already made our decision. We want the whole land at the base of the jagged mountain"
Boss Chu nearly fell off his chair in shock. In his mind all he could hear was the clinking sounds of silver.
'So much money'

Boss Chu who had initially been frightened fell into deep thought. It was indeed true that this business was profitable to him no matter how you looked it. No matter how he thought about it, the gains outweighed the loss. Su Xiao looked at My Wei and he gave her a subtle nod. Deciding to strike when the iron was hot, she proposed.
"How about this, you sell it to us for five hundred taels. In exchange we sell whatever we hunt to you. Also, if you get hurt as battles are inevitable here, I will give you special treatment?"
Boss Chu was instantly shocked.
"You're a female physician?"
"Yes. But that will be our little secret for now"
Boss Chu was instantly excited. Having a doctor was like having a life saving amulet. He has lost many of his men due to delayed treatment and he narrowly escaped death many times. Buying land doesn't happen at a fancy government office. After counting the money they gave him, he wrote three deed and stamped a crude blood fingerprint completing the process. Su Xiao smile became more genuine, she could already see their dream taking shape after completing the first step.

After introducing each other and exchanging a few pleasantries, they stepped outside. It was snowing lightly as people moved about their day.

Boss Chu stood there watching their silhouette disappear before going inside. He summoned his right hand man before asking,
"What do you think of the couple today?
Wei carefully thought before answering.
"They're mysterious and formidable. I believe it would be good not getting on their bad side for now"
"Mm. Your evaluation is correct. Warn the boys to steer clear from them"
"Yes boss"
With that he bowed and took his leave. Boss Chu went back to the chest counting the silver taels and laughing wildly.
