The Kaibaman clone drew a card from his deck.
"Two identical Kaibamen... I can barely tell them apart anymore," Ash Blossom muttered, resting her chin on her hand as she watched the two identical figures standing side-by-side.
"Since this is a Tag Duel, I'll borrow the monster on my own field," the Kaibamen said, glancing at each other.
"Because Lord of D. is currently on the field, I activate the Spell Card, The Flute of Summoning Dragon from my hand!"
"The Flute of Summoning Dragon allows me to Special Summon two Dragon-Type monsters from my hand!"
"I Special Summon Dragon Spirit of White and Blue-Eyes Solid Dragon!"
Two pillars of light rose from Kaibaman's side of the field. A pure white dragon and a silver-white dragon with iridescent wings materialized one after another.
"Roar!"

Those two cards... Jaden Yuki's expression turned grim.
"Dragon Spirit of White and Blue-Eyes Solid Dragon both trigger unique effects when they are Normal or Special Summoned!" Kaibaman shouted. "First is the effect of Dragon Spirit of White! When this card is Summoned, I can banish one Spell or Trap card on my opponent's field!"
Kaibaman pointed directly at a face-down card on Jaden's field.
"I choose that card! Be a good boy and send it to the Banished Zone, kid!"
Kaibaman folded his arms and let out a boisterous laugh toward the sky.
"Is that so?" Jaden's lips curled into a slight smile. "I'm afraid the card you targeted is the Quick-Play Spell, Mask Change."
"A Quick-Play Spell?!" Kaibaman's laughter stopped abruptly.
"In the instant you targeted it, I activate Mask Change!" Jaden declared, swiping the card from his backrow.
With a wave of his hand, the face-down card flipped open, emitting a blinding light.
"Henshin!"
The light bathed Vision HERO Vyon, and an 'M' shaped belt appeared around the android's waist.
"I target Vision HERO Vyon, send it to the Graveyard, and Special Summon Masked HERO Dark Law from my Extra Deck!"
Boom!
A black whirlwind instantly engulfed Vyon. As the vortex dissipated, the dark, armored form of Dark Law emerged on the field.

"Oh? A tactic to Special Summon from the Extra Deck during the opponent's turn? Interesting..." Kaibaman looked at Dark Law with genuine curiosity. "Masked HERO Dark Law, huh? I can feel it... this is a very special HERO."
"However! I immediately activate the effect of Blue-Eyes Solid Dragon!" Kaibaman swung his arm wide, his voice booming. "When this card is Summoned, I can target one monster on the opponent's field and negate its effects! I choose Masked HERO Dark Law!"
"Roar!" Blue-Eyes Solid Dragon let out a piercing howl.
A terrifying draconic pressure descended, pinning Dark Law down until he could barely breathe. He stumbled back as his dark energy was completely absorbed by the silver dragon. Even his obsidian armor faded, turning from a deep black to a dull grey.
"Dark Law's effects were negated?" Ash Blossom clicked her tongue. "Incredible. Kaibaman doesn't even know what Dark Law does, but his duelist intuition told him to shut those effects down immediately."
"At this rate, these two might be the most powerful opponents The Supreme King has ever faced. They aren't just equal to Seto Kaiba in strengththere are two of them..."
Ash Blossom felt her heart racing. Looking at the board, The Supreme King was at an overwhelming disadvantage.
The Blue-Eyes deck possessed unreasonable, tyrannical attack power and immense destructive capabilities. When combined with their archetype's Spells and Traps that offered disruption, a Blue-Eyes board was nearly impossible to break once it was established.
A HERO deck, which specialized in battle and destruction, had run into a Blue-Eyes deck that was simply better at it. No matter how you looked at it, Jaden was being crushed.
"I Set one card and end my turn," Kaibaman said, placing a card face-down and looking at Jaden. "It seems you're completely paralyzed, young man."
"Oh? It seems you've stopped taking me seriously," Yubel cut in with a cold sneer. "If I recall correctly, it's my turn now, isn't it?"
Yubel's turn...
Ash Blossom swallowed hard. This was the first time she had seen Yubel actively take charge of a duel. She knew very little about Yubel's deck, but the compatibility between Yubel and The Supreme King would be the deciding factor of this duel!
"My turn."
Yubel drew a card from the top of the deck. At that exact moment, Destiny HERO - Dasher, resting in the Graveyard, suddenly opened his eyes.
"Now, the card Jaden buried for me comes into play!" Yubel revealed the card in their hand. "When Destiny HERO - Dasher is in the Graveyard, if I draw a monster during my Draw Phase, I can Special Summon it. And the card I just drew... is myself!"
"Come forth, Yubel!"
Yubel? Kaibaman blinked in surprise. "I see. So you are a card spirit as well?"
"Hmph."
Yubel sneered as their spectral form dissipated, only to manifest physically on the field in a swirl of energy.

"Zero attack power?" Ash Blossom's eyes widened. "I didn't expect this scary-looking person to actually have zero attack..."
She rubbed her chin, her brow furrowing. "Wait... if she's that weak, why am I usually so afraid of her?"
"Since that was a Special Summon, I still have my Normal Summon for the turn," Yubel said, smiling at the next card in their hand. "I Normal Summon Sangan."
"Gah!" A furry, three-eyed ball-like monster appeared on Yubel's field.

"Oh? A monster that replenishes your hand when sent to the Graveyard?" Kaibaman looked at the card with amusement. "But in front of Blue-Eyes White Dragon, no monster is of any use! Hahaha!"
"Gah..." Sangan looked at the laughing Kaibaman with terror. Its forehead dripped with sweat as it stared up at the four massive dragons looming over the field.
"Hehehe, is that so?" Yubel smirked. "I Set two cards."
"Next, during the End Phase, I activate my own effect. Every time my turn ends, I must Tribute one monster on my field, or I will be destroyed myself. I choose to Tribute Sangan."
Whoosh!
Sangan was suddenly wrapped in a black wind and vanished from the field.
"Now, due to Sangan's effect, when it leaves the field, I can add one monster with 1500 or less ATK from my deck to my hand."
Yubel smiled thinly as they drew a card from their deck.
A monster with 1500 or less ATK?
Every spirit watching the duel focused their gaze on the card in Yubel's hand. Ash Blossom's expression was particularly heavy.
What is it? A hand trap? Does Yubel plan to use a hand trap to survive the next wave of Blue-Eyes attacks? Or is it something else? Wait... why does that card give off such an ominous feeling?
