"Amazoness Swords Woman, attack!"
Tania didn't let the decrease in her Life Points slow her down. She commanded her Amazoness Swords Woman to charge once more toward Bastion Misawa's Electromagnet Warrior Alpha.
Bastion felt a jolt of alarm.
Because of Amazoness Queen's effect, Amazoness Swords Woman couldn't be destroyed by battle. That meant only his monster would be wiped out.
"I won't let it be that easy!" Bastion shouted, waving his hand. On the field, Electromagnet Warrior Alpha was instantly enveloped in a crackling surge of electromagnetism.
"I activate the effect of Electromagnet Warrior Alpha!" Bastion said hurriedly. "During my opponent's turn, I can tribute this card to Special Summon one Level 4 Magnet Warrior monster from my deck!"
"Come forth! Delta The Magnet Warrior!"
The body of the Electromagnet Warrior was swallowed by an electromagnetic storm. A moment later, as the gale dissipated, a blue magnet spirit appeared on Bastion's side of the field in a defensive stance.

"When Delta The Magnet Warrior is Special Summoned successfully, I can send one Level 4 or lower Magnet Warrior monster from my deck to the Graveyard! Feel the magnetic storm!"
Bastion shouted, "I choose to send Electromagnet Warrior Beta to the Graveyard!"
As the card slid from his deck into the Graveyard slot, a smile played across Bastion's lips.
"Oh? Sending monsters from your deck to the Graveyard in the heat of battle?" Tania's eyes narrowed slightly. "I don't know what you're planning, but your monster is still going to be destroyed."
As her voice fell, the Amazoness Swords Woman brought her scimitar down with a savage hack against the Magnet Warrior. Though Delta was in defense position, the massive blade left deep, glowing fractures across its body.
Boom!
Electromagnetic scraps scattered through the air as Delta The Magnet Warrior vanished in a violent explosion.
"Hmph, now your field is completely empty, Bastion." Tania's expression suddenly shifted, her posture becoming coy and fidgety. "But you know, a Bastion in a tight spot is actually quite handsome too~"
"You..." Bastion's heart skipped a beat.
"Why? Why are you doing this to me!" Bastion gritted his teeth, unable to stop himself from shouting back. "Do you... do you actually like me? This is only the first time we've met!"
"Oh, stop it. Isn't love at first sight the most natural thing in the world?" Tania waved her hand dismissively while casually sliding a card into her Duel Disk. "Besides, I truly do like you, Bastion."
"What?"
Bastion's mind descended into total chaos. A deep flush crept up his face, and his usually calm heart was racing out of control.
Is she joking? Love at first sight? Love at first sight...
We're in the middle of a duel! A duel with the future of the world at stake!
If I lose... if I lose...
"It's your turn now. Do your best, Bastion-dear~" Tania blew him a kiss and gave him a playful wink.
Thump!
So cute.
The kiss was the final blow; Bastion's mental defenses crumbled instantly.
"It... it's my turn." Bastion wiped a bead of cold sweat from his forehead.
"Bastion, let me see your handsome side," Tania whispered with another sultry look.
My handsome side... that's right.
He had to win this duel. He had to make sure Tania saw exactly how cool he could be.
Bastion gritted his teeth, surveying the resources in his hand and the Set card on his field. Everything is here! The formula for victory!
"I activate my Set card! The Trap, Magnet Conversion!" Bastion swept his arm wide and shouted, "When this card is activated, I can target up to three Level 4 or lower Magnet Warrior monsters in my Graveyard and add them to my hand!"
"Oh? Up to three?" Tania's expression became serious, though she watched him with renewed interest.
"Correct. I choose to add Electromagnet Warrior Alpha and Electromagnet Warrior Beta to my hand!"
Two cards slid out of his Graveyard slot, and Bastion snatched them up. "Next, I summon Electromagnet Warrior Beta!"
Zzzzt!
Electricity flickered as a pink Magnet Warrior appeared on Bastion's field.
"Electromagnet Warrior Beta..." Jaden Yuki nodded as he watched the duel. "Not bad. I didn't expect Bastion to manage his Magnet Warrior resources so well while being pressured like that."
"It seems Bastion's dueling skills have improved quite a bit," Jaden continued.
"Is that so? To me, he looks like he's been completely bewitched by that muscle-woman," Ash Blossom remarked, leaning her head on her hand as she reclined on Jaden's shoulder.
"Well..." Jaden gave a wry smile. Personal aesthetics weren't something he felt qualified to judge.
"Electromagnet Warrior Beta's effect activates!" Bastion drew another card from his deck. "When this card is Normal or Special Summoned, I can add one Level 4 or lower Magnet Warrior monster from my deck to my hand! I choose Electromagnet Warrior Gamma!"
As he revealed the card, Bastion's eyes shone with the light of impending victory. "Now, Electromagnet Warriors Alpha, Beta, and Gamma are all gatheredeither on the field or in my hand!"
"Oh?" Tania blinked, a thought occurring to her. "Could it be that card from the beginning...?"
"Exactly!"
Bastion slotted three cards into his Banished Zone and roared, "I banish Electromagnet Warriors Alpha, Beta, and Gamma from my field and hand! Special Summon from my hand! Berserkion the Electromagna Warrior!"
Rumble!
The three Electromagnet Warriors soared into the air. Under the force of a powerful magnetic field, their bodies began to disassemble and recombine at high speed.
Boom!
In a flash of blinding light, a gargantuan magnetic giant wielding a massive magnet sword descended from the sky, standing tall on Bastion's field.

"Three thousand attack points?"
"Incredible! Is this Bastion's ace monster?"
Chazz and Alexis couldn't help but cry out in surprise.
"As expected of the man I chose. That is a very handsome side of you," Tania said, leaning her cheek against her hand with a smile. "However, since I have Amazoness Queen on the field, my monsters cannot be destroyed by battle."
"But they can still be destroyed by card effects!" Bastion interrupted her loudly. "I activate the effect of Berserkion the Electromagna Warrior! By banishing one Level 4 or lower Magnet Warrior from my Graveyard, I can target one card on my opponent's field and destroy it!"
Bastion pointed directly at the warrior on Tania's field. "I banish Delta The Magnet Warrior from my Graveyard to destroy your Amazoness Queen! Go! Electromagnetic Interference!"
Bzzzzzzzt!
Electromagnetic waves saturated the air. Tania's Amazoness Queen was instantly covered in intense electrical discharges.
"Aaaaaah!"
A second later, she shattered into fragments amidst a piercing scream.
"Oh? So that's why you left that card in the Graveyard?" Tania nodded with satisfaction. "Very good, Bastion-dear. You did well."
Bastion's face turned red again, and he looked a bit smug.
"Battle! Berserkion the Electromagna Warrior, attack Amazoness Queen!"

Amazoness Queen: ATK 1200 -> 1400
"Since Bastion-dear is being so serious," Tania's smile suddenly vanished as she shouted, "I activate my Set card! Amazoness Onslaught!"
"What?" Bastion's face paled as he saw the Trap activate.
"When the Battle Phase begins, I can Special Summon one Amazoness monster from my deck, and that monster gains 500 ATK until the end of the turn!" Tania flipped a card from her hand. "I Special Summon, Amazoness Tiger!"
"Roar!"
The one-eyed tiger known as 'Albaz' prowled out from behind Tania, leaping onto the field.
"Furthermore, for every Amazoness monster on my field, Amazoness Tiger gains 400 ATK. Combined with the effects of Amazoness Village and Amazoness Onslaught..."

"Three thousand attack?" Chazz cried out. "Then it's just as strong as Bastion's monster!"
"While Amazoness Tiger is on the field, the opponent can only target it for attacks!" Alexis added anxiously. "If the attack continues, Berserkion and Amazoness Tiger will destroy each other!"
"..." Bastion fell silent.
Berserkion the Electromagna Warrior had a floating effect: if it was destroyed by battle or card effect, he could Special Summon the banished Electromagnet Warriors Alpha, Beta, and Gamma.
Alpha's attack would be equal to the buffed Amazoness Swords Woman... Beta would be stronger than Amazoness Princess... and Gamma could attack directly.
In other words... he could wipe her out in an instant!
Bastion's eyes flickered with excitement. "Continue the attack! Berserkion! Take Amazoness Tiger down with you!" Bastion roared.
"Hehe..." Tania's lips curled into a smirk.
"Oh no..." Jaden's brow furrowed. "Bastion... you fell for it."
Berserkion and Amazoness Tiger collided. The tiger's fangs tore into the giant's electromagnetic hide, while Berserkion's magnet sword pierced through the beast's belly.
Instantly, a pillar of fire erupted from the impact. Both duel monsters vanished into the tongues of the explosion.
