"Captain, we will be arriving at the jumpgate momentarily," a Catonian bridge officer reported.
"Very good helm," another Catonian who sat in the main seat on the bridge replied before saying, "Sensors, I want a full scan as soon as we drop out of FTL."
"Aye, Captain."
"Dropping out of FTL in three, two, one," the helmsman said before the ship they were all on returned to normal space.
"Initiating scan," the sensor officer said before going quiet for a few seconds and then continuing, "Detecting one ship, one Levithen and no jumpgate."
"What!" The captain replied before getting up and walking over to the sensor operator's station and asking, "What do you mean, no jumpgate, and why is the Levithen here? Identify the ship."
"The ship's registry is E D F Zero Zero One dash Spector."
"That's the ship Diva Lorelie has been travelling on," The captain responded in surprise.
"It is?" the weapons officer asked in surprise and excitement.
"Yes, all senior officers in the CDF were briefed about this. Should we encounter that ship, we have standing orders to assist them in any way possible," the first officer replied.
"Communications, hail the ship," The captain ordered while returning to their seat.
"Aye, captain, hailing now," the communications officer replied.

[[Incoming communication from the CDF ship.]]
"Accept it," Adam said before a holographic screen appeared before him, showing a Catonian sitting in a captain's chair.
"E D F Zero Zero One dash Spector, I am the Captain Canxy of the Catonian Defence Force ship Taiki. We have been dispatched because we detected a power spike coming from the jumpgate. Do you happen to know what happened because we are failing to detect the jumpgate? Also, you appear to be in the medical bay. Is anyone in your crew injured and in need of medical attention?"
"Greetings, Captain. I am the captain of the Spector. Thank you for your kind offer, but our medical bay is more than sufficient. As for what happened to the jumpgate, we do indeed know what happened," Adam replied.

"Would you kindly inform us?" The Canxy asked.
"I would be happy to," Adam replied before asking, "I'm sure you have heard about the Scorpo and Levithen that appeared near Felinia Seven?"
"Of course, we were originally tasked to intercept and eliminate the Scorpo along with several other ships, and were actually one of the ships that arrived on scene just after you eliminated it. Shortly after that, we received orders to investigate the jumpgates' powerspike."
"Well, after dealing with the Scorpo and departing, I received information that the one responsible for hiring the pilot of Excess Surplus to attack and kill me during the charity match was, in fact, heading for the Felidae Galaxy."

"Yes," Adam replied before going on to explain what happened after up until Drot's ship arrived.
"During the firefight with the guilty party's ship, the jumpgate was hit, and that must have caused it to overload, resulting in the power spike you detected."

"Thank you for informing us about what happened. Are you sure there isn't anything we can assist you with?"
"No, it's fine, I'm going to take Tephe back to Felinia Seven as she will need to rest after she awakens," Adam replied.
"Of course, we will let you get on your way and thank you again for your assistance."
Adam nodded in response before ending the communication.

"Take us back to Felinia Seven," Adam instructed; however, Spector didn't respond straight away like expected, so he asked, "Errr, Spector?"

As Spector finally responded, a new holographic screen appeared showing Maya, who had stopped circling Spector and was instead just floating motionless in space.

As everyone watched, the orange stripes on Maya's body started to flash and glow brighter in a similar way to how Tephe's scales did when she was about to travel through subspace.

[Krutonium (Synthetic Prime): It looks like she's about to enter subspace.]
[DeverinianLordMalacoss (Deverinian 9): I guess since both of them have entered the ship, the young Levithen has decided to leave.]
As they continued observing Maya, the brightness of her orange stripes continually increased until all of a sudden they returned to how they are normally.

As everyone was discussing why Maya suddenly stopped, they witnessed a sight that every single one of them found incredible.
Maya, the young Levithen, suddenly vanished.
"Huh?" Adam said.

The stream suddenly shifted and revealed Maya still floating in space.

As Adam and the chat were confused about what they were seeing, they noticed that Maya started moving and that the background they were seeing started to change until everyone saw a rectangular entrance that Maya flew towards.
