Rowena stared at the oversized flashlight with what Celeste could only describe as fear, which confused her and made her ask, "What's wrong? You said before that I was lucky to be able to hold this thing, don't you want a chance to hold it?"

"Pass," Rowena replied.
"Why?" Celeste asked as her confusion built.
"I would rather not get killed," Rowena replied, causing Celeste to become even more confused as she asked.
"Killed?"Ā
"Don't worry, I already set you as a registered user, just as I did with Celeste before I gave it to her," Adam suddenly said.
"Why would you need to set someone as a registered user of a flashlight? Do you have some special attachment to this oversized thing?" Celeste asked with a frown.

"How have you still not realised that what you're carrying isn't a flashlight but is a universal force staff," Rowena asked with her signature smirk as she eagerly anticipated what came next.
"Universal force staff?" Celeste asked in confusion before the realisation of what she had just said sank in, causing her to scream and drop the force staff while jumping backwards away from it.
"AHHHHHH."
The force staff fell to the ground before bouncing a couple of times and rolling over to one of the walls, where it stopped as the light illuminated the tunnel they had just come through.
"HAHAHAHAHA," Rowena burst into laughter at Celeste's expected response.

"Really?" Adam asked with a sigh as he bent down to pick up the force staff while adding, "Did you have to drop it?"
"Why the fuck would you give me a universal force staff? Are you trying to kill me?" Celeste asked angrily.
"If I were, you would have died when we entered the tunnel," Adam replied as he inspected the force staff to make sure it wasn't damaged.
"What are you laughing at? And why didn't you tell me I was holding a universal force staff?" Celeste asked as she rounded on Rowena.
"Haha, what and miss this comedy?" Rowena replied as she continued to laugh.
"Fuck you, you old hag," Celeste snapped angrily.

"You were never this troublesome when Philip was with you," Celeste stated, causing Rowena to stop laughing and think about what Celeste said.
"Hmmm, you know, I think you're right," Rowena replied before continuing, "Of course, I had fun with Philip, but I never felt I could let loose around him and be myself without worrying about what he thought about me."
"Guess he wasn't the right guy for you after allā¦ in more ways than one," Celeste stated as she showed Rowena a sad look.
"Don't give me that sad look, it was a long time ago," Rowena said with a smile.
"Not for me."
"Ah, good point."
"Looks fine, here," Adam suddenly said before offering the force staff to Rowena, who took it with a happy smile while saying.
"Thank you."
Celeste watched Rowena accept the force staff while leaning away ever so slightly.

[Whitehorn (Darah 5): š«£ I really should have left.]
"Why are you leaning away like that?" Rowena asked as she smirked at Celeste.
"Hmph," Celeste replied while turning away with a pout.
"Ok, ok, stop pouting and open the hatch," Rowena instructed.
"Fine, fine," Celeste replied before moving towards the hatch above their heads and bracing her hands against it while looking at Adam and saying, "Tell me when."
Adam nodded before tapping his uniband, causing a holographic screen to appear showing the micro-cam controls. Adam selected one of the cameras and controlled it to move towards the hatch while saying, "Now."
Celeste put strength into her arms and pushed upwards, causing dust and small bits of earth from around the hatch to fall on her, making her cough and turn her face away.
Adam controlled the camera to quickly pass through the gap Celeste made before saying, "Done."
Celeste quickly closed the hatch again and began to brush herself down and try to clean the earth and dust out of her hair while grumbling, "Great, now I've got dirt in my hair."Ā
"I'm sure it's not the first time for a Monicerus like you," Rowena commented.
"What are you trying to say?" Celeste asked with a frown as she continued to run her fingers through her white hair.
"Just that you must have slept on the ground and got mud and other stuff in your hair when you were younger and before you gained your humanoid form," Rowena replied.
"I guess," Celeste replied before turning to Adam and asking, "Anything?"
"Take a look," Adam replied as he made the holographic screen above his uniband slightly larger for the two women and the stream switched to show the view from the micro-cam that passed through the hatch.
Everyone watched as the view of the camera showed that it was rising higher into the air until it almost reached the ceiling. Adam then controlled the micro-cam to start rotating around, allowing everyone to see a garage full of several different hovercars and bikes.
As it continued to rotate, the image of a pair of male Brood who appeared to be working on one of the hovercars came into view.
"See, you caused this," Rowena said confidently.
[Noobkiller9000 (Earth): She totally did.]
[Justiceistruth (Earth): She shouldn't have raised the flag.]

"It's pure coincidence," Celeste retorted, though there was an obvious hint of doubt in her voice.
"Uh-huh, sure," Rowena replied with a smirk before holding up the force staff and asking, "Want me to take care of them?"Ā
"With the force staff?" Adam asked in surprise.
"Sure, I always wanted to use one," Rowena replied with a smile before she pressed a section on the force staff, causing it to extend into its staff form.
[Gunlovergirl (Earth): Oh shit, are we gonna see Diva Rowena in action? That would be dope.]

[OfficialAphrodite (Felinia 7): You think a two-thousand-year-old has never learnt how to defend herself just because she's a model?]
"You know how that works?" Celeste asked in surprise.
"I have met a few universal senators and their bodyguards over the years and some of them were fans of mine and even showed me how their staff worked, though I never got to hold one like I am now," Rowena replied while spinning the staff around in the tunnel without it touching any of the walls, floor or ceiling.

"Someone's practised," Adam remarked in an impressed tone.
"Impressed?" Rowena asked with a wink.
"Yeah, what functions of the force staff did those bodyguards show you?" Adam asked.
"Not many to be fair, even though they were fans of mine, they weren't willing to show me too many of its functions," Rowena replied before asking hopefully, "Are you?"Ā
"What? Teach you the functions of the force staff?" Adam asked before adding, "That would imply that I'm going to let you keep it."
"You're not?" Rowena asked with disappointment.
"Not that one, as it's mine, but I might consider giving you your own in the future, depending on what happens," Adam replied.
"Really? My own universal force staff?" Rowena asked in excitement.
"Seriously?" Celeste asked in surprise.

While I'm still not sure what they can do about Adam, since he's from outside the known universe and his race isn't part of the universal senate. Rowena is another matter; she is part of the known universe and from the Brood race, so they might try to retrieve the force staff from her.]

"You know they will never let you keep it right?" Celeste asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Who won't?" Adam asked curiously.
"She's referring to the Universal Senate Security Headquarters, which is in charge of all Universal Senator Bodyguards," Rowena replied before explaining. "Because the universal force staff is restricted to Universal Senator Bodyguards, they won't like the idea of me owning one."
"And yet you still want one?" Adam asked.
"I always have, they are such a cool weapon and super useful, who wouldn't want one?" Rowena replied with a smile as she gently caressed the universal force staff.
