Four days later the fleet of the fire nation arrived at the horizon numbering about 80 ships.
Akira stood on top of one of their ships "Begin to attack with the submarines" he commanded and black shadows began to move below the water surface towards the fleet.
It needed a few minutes but slowly one ship after the other began to sink reducing their forces to only half before they got into shooting range.
"Fire!" Akira commanded and explosive hydrogen bombs were launched towards the ships of the fire nation.
He himself took out his sniper rifle and aimed with his scope towards a man who stood on the front gazing towards the island, wearing slightly different armour than the rest.
His uniform showed him to hold the rank of an admiral so he steadied his breath and shot, aiming straight at the commanders head.
The moment his bullet arrived the head of the commander was pierced through and he fell down immediately afterwards, bleeding out of his head.

Fire solider pov:
A lot has happened during the last week. Everyone was shocked at the desertion of prince Akira who started a rebellion. Ozai became the next fire lord and declared prince Akira a traitor of this nation promising a great reward for him, dead or alive.
The military was ordered to catch or kill the traitor and bring justice to their new king but he never expected this little prince to have his own fortified military base.
Just as the shock at all those warships at the docks died down a rumble was heard beside him and one of the ships to his right began to sink slowly.
'What? How did this happen?' he stared at this in shock and fear. Ship after ship began to sink, reducing their fleets to half without them even knowing what's going on.
Then a loud bang was heard and the general in front of him fell down dead.
He was beyond terrified. 'The spirits are against us seeking revenge for our crimes' he thought and looked at the other soliders who were equally terrified.
"Surrender or else we'll all die" he screamed "the spirits are against us!"
The soliders hurried and hissed a white flag surrendering.
Seeing the commander ship hissing the white flag all the other ships followed and also hissed a white flag on their flagpost.
The assault stopped and ships of the rebell army approaced.
They arrived and chained them with iron handcuffs and led them towards the island where a ten year old boy was standing in front of them.
He looked at them with his cold blue eyes pondering what to do with them and deciding their fate.
Never had the solider thought his life would one day lie in the hands of a little brat.
"You have two choices right now. Follow me and join the rebellion or leave and never come back. Tell your new fire lord that whatever troops he sends they will end up being defeated. Oh and of course we will take your ships. You can row your way back in those wodden boats" Akira said pointing to a few crude and small wodden boats.
Around half of the soliders decided to join the rebellion and the other half left with the wodden boats.

Mc pov
"Are we just letting them go?" Hao Li asked angered.
"Yes, the fire nation just lost 80 ships to us and their treasury is raided. They won't be able to launch another attack for a while no matter how many soliders they have. They will most likely try to cut of our supply routes first so send a few ships to patrol the trade routes.
Also get rid of those fire nation flags. From now on the flag of the rebellion will be a black panther on a yellow flag" he decided and everyone nodded.
He left to the training grounds the soliders had errected in the middle of the island to continue his training with combustion bending. He wanted to master it at all costs. There was no way he would just sit around and be statisfied with this one victory and train to join the avatar in the future.
'Six years until then...what should I do till then?" he asked himself 'mabye I should travel the world? Make a few new friends?'
He thought about which places he should visit, thinking about the sun warriors and the Kyoshi village.
After deciding on those few places he concentrated and blasted the compressed sphere against a tree but it was still not the same as combustion man...
In the end a whole year passed before he could finally shot small spheres in lightning speed and they exploded on impact.
During this time there were two more attacks of the fire nation which were defended against with ease and always ending up with the same result.
There was also a small team of metal benders that had trained hard in the art and reached mastery.
They were all granted better treatment and elite solider status much like his lightning guards.
"Han Li, I am transferring the command of the rebel troops to you" Akira said to his generals "I am leaving to see the world and I don't know when I'll come back but there are a few things I need to do" Akira said. After mastering combustion bending he hit a wall with no new idea how to further train his firebending so he planned to first visit the island of the sun warriors not far from here.
He took one of the smaller steam powered boats and set of to southeast.
The island of the sun warriors was near the prison of the boiling rock and near fire nation territory so he had to be careful to not be spotted by fire nations patrols.
He heated the container with water making it boil and started the motor which surred to life and his small ship started moving.
Before departing he had stocked up on food to be able to last for a few years and left around a quater of the money he raided from the treasury for his generals to finance the rebellion.
On his shoulder sat Noir in his small cat form and liked him on his cheek.
"Yeah Noir, I know you hate water but we need to go to the ancient sun warriors to learn more about firebending. I'll even give you a steak as reward" Akira said and chuckled as Noir immediately perched up and looked at the horizon like a conqueror.
Behind them Asokoh island became smaller and smaller before it vanished.
