"We have found a way to win this war. Soon there is an eclipse happening and firebenders will loose their power temporairly" Sokka told them "It's the perfect opportunity to start an invasion on the fire nation"
"We need to get this information to the earth king, he needs to know there is a chance to win this war" Katara said and Akira nodded.
He just hoped that he will have his bending back before they arrive else he will get destroyed by the Dai Li agents.
Trying to create a flame inside his hand he felt his chi flow smootly and a ball of fire appear inside his hand.
'Alright, with this it's decided. I will take over the leadership of the Dai Li' he thought and grinned.
The Dai Li will be a useful asset to him.
He pondered how he could take control of them.
He could offer Long Feng to help him take over the earth kingdom and in exchange he wants money.
The journey to Ba Sing Se was much quicker than in the original series because they still had Appa.
Akira was chilling on top of Appa's head and navigating the flight to Ba Sing Se.
"Aang after we arrived you need to visit the eastern air temple" Akira said.
"Why?"
"Someone there wants to meet you and he can help you master the avatar state"
It was very important that Aang finaly masters the avatar state to be ready to fight against firelord Ozai.
"How do you know this?" Katara asked.
"Really?" Aang asked him interested.
"Did you forget that I'm the guide of the Avatar" Akira said arrogantly.
"Oh Toph, now that my bending is working again can I join your earthbending training with Aang?" Akira asked.
"Sure thing second avatar" Toph joked "I don't have a problem beating up the both of you"
"Great" Akira smiled.
Just like that Toph started to teach him in the same way that she did with Aang.
Earth seemed to be no real pronlem for him. He was so convinced of his powers that it almost bordered on arrogance but he had the abilities to back it up.
To repay this to Toph he teached her metal bending.
Her talent in earthbending was really crazy. She mastered it the moment he explained it to her.
"You monster" Akira mumbled astonished by her quick progress.
"I didn't even know this was possible, thank you Akira" Toph said with a big smile messing around with a ball of metal.
His own earthbending had also made progress and he now had a solid earthbending base.
But he could be considered as an untrained average earthbender at best so he still had a long way to go before this becomes even useful in his fighting style.
They finally arrived in Ba Sing Se and even Akira marveled at it's giant outer walls.
The giant city spread out under them like a sea of tiny houses.
"Hey can we stay here for a while?" Akira asked them.
"Sure we were planning to rest a bit anyways, why do you ask?" Sokka said and Akira lowered his head.
"My older brother Lu Ten died here during the siege of Ba Sing Se" Akira said.
"Oh...I'm sorry" Sokka said.
"Even through I was very young when he died and he was often away from home he was still the best older brother in the wold...at least to me" Akira said.
Katara just hugged him.
They landed straight in front of the king's palace and were stopped by guards.
"Entering the royal ring is forbidden. State your names!" a guard said.
"I'm the avatar and I need to talk with the earth king" Aang said "these are my friends, Katara, Toph, Akira and Sokka"
"An audience will be arranged for you. For now come with me avatar, I'll show you where you can wait" he said.
'This is going better than expected?' Akira thought suprised but it was only logical.
Instead of letting Long Feng plan for their arrival and manipulation thay just barged right in and wanted an audience from the king before Long Feng even knows they are here.
'Suprise motherfucker' Akira smiled and followed the group to a waiting room.
He was bored really quickly because they had to wait for over an hoir but they were then allowed to come to the earth king.
"It's a great honour to meet the avatar" the king said.
"Your majesty" Aang said respectfully and bowed.
"What gives me the pleasure of having the avatar here wishing to talk with me?" the king asked while petting his bear.
"We have information about the fire-nation and the perfect opportunity to launch an invasion on the fire nation and end the war once and fir all" Sokka said.
"War? What war are you talking about?"the king asked confused.
"Your majesty, it seems like someone prevented this kind of information to reach your ears and is conspiring against you" Akira said shocking the king "the war against the fire nation already started around a hundred years ago"
"What is going on here? Why are these children in the throne room?" Long Feng asked the king.
What followed was the most ridiculus argument of all time.The king just couldn't believe that his kingdom was at war all of a sudden.
Behind the king Long Feng narrowed his eyes in anger.
Finally they were able to convince the king to support them in the invasion and he showed a suprising willingness to act.
Shortly later, Long Feng was imprisioned and a war council was gathered to discuss the military strategy for the day of the black sun.
They were then showed the way to their home in the upper ring where they could stay however long they want.
"What are we going to do now?" Akira asked.
"Well we could enjoy the city" Sokka said.
"Good idea, let's have a short vacation here and stay for a week" Aang said petting Momo.
"In this case there is something I need to do" Akira said alrrady planning to overthrow the Dai Li.
"Oh what excactly?" Toph asked.
"Just visit the memorial of my brother" Akira said and went out of the door "I'd prefer if I do this alone"
"Alright, what are we going to do then?" he heard Sokka ask the others behind him.
