The hall on the ground floor was vast, constructed with a scale that made even large gatherings appear small within it. The ceiling stretched high above, supported by thick pillars that carried faint inscriptions across their surfaces.
At the center of the hall stood the testing structure, a massive circular disk with a hollow center, resembling a ring laid flat against a raised platform. Its surface was smooth and pale, with faint lines running across it like veins.
Dominic walked ahead at a steady pace, his steps measured. Ethan followed without distraction, observing everything in silence.
"This castle has a total of eight floors," Dominic said as they moved through the hall. His tone remained even, as if he were explaining something routine rather than significant. "Those with potential ranging from bronze to gold remain on the ground floor."
They passed by several members who turned their attention toward them but did not interfere.
