The rulers of the hundred kingdoms surrounding the Ancient Death Forest had gathered for an emergency meeting.
Their figures floated within a vast virtual hall created through the System's authority. Although their true bodies remained inside their own kingdoms, their expressions were unusually grim.
A silver-haired king waved his hand.
A massive projection appeared in the center of the hall.
"Have you seen this?"
The image showed countless monsters moving through the Ancient Death Forest.
Thousands upon thousands of beasts marched together as though they were part of a disciplined army. Flying creatures darkened the sky while enormous monsters shook the earth beneath them.
At the center of everything stood a young human.
"The newly emerged lord has already taken control of thousands of monsters," another king said. "I am also certain that the Forest Monarch is helping him for some reason."
The rulers exchanged troubled looks.
