Chapter : 28 : How Is This Even Fair :

" Cian V Keolos !!!! "

Hearing this name the reaction of the people in the room were similar to the one's that they gave when they first heard about Zeal .
They don't know who this Cian is .
And although his family name sounded like it belonged to some kind of a noble , it certainly was not a famous one.
Because if it was then they would have heard of his name by now .
And just as they thought their predictions were true .
" Cian V Keolos belongs from a small noble household from the border region . "
" The boy has shown excellent talents and have two types of magical affinities . "
" The first magic affinity that he has is in wind magic . "
Wind magic ! Indeed an exceptionally strong magic .
Especially as it is a perfect combination of power , speed , defence , and agility all at once .
But certainly that's not what made him unique .
In fact after Earth and Fire magic the wind magic is the most common type of alimentary magic .
At this point many people felt that this teacher had a particular habit of telling things in slow manner while creating suspense .
' I mean what's the point of telling all this little details . '
' Just go straight to the point already . '
At this point one of the teachers couldn't take it anymore and spoke up .
" What you stop keeping the suspense and tell us already . "

Seeing that everyone was looking at him with an annoyed face he finally decided to drop the hammer .

All of them had their eyes opened wide in shock and yet they couldn't speak anything .

The gravity magic is a form of a pseudo space time magic one of the rarest and hardest to master .
In fact in this case the gravity magic can be considered above the Crystal magic and on the same level as the light magic .
The Crystal magic is strong and the founding fathers of the kingdom had shown just how capable a person with it can be .
However it was still inferior when it came to complexity and raw power of the gravity magic .
At the same time when it came to the comparison between the light magic and gravity magic it could be said both are equals .
The light magic has the healing and purification powers that makes it so valuable .
But the gravity magic has the advantage in raw strength and versatile uses then the light magic .
' The first is an imperial prince with crystal magic , then there is a commoner boy with light magic . '
' And now you are telling me that there is another person with gravity magic in the same class . '
' This batch of students are filled with extraordinarily talented students . '
While thinking about it many of them also looked toward professor Frost with envy and jealousy .
' How is he allowed to have so many good student while we don't get a single one . '
' How Is this even fair . '
If they thought even one of these student's then their reputation within the academy will go high .
And if in the future any one of their students made great contributions then automatically they as the teacher who raised such students will be given a share of the glory and their names will become permanent in the kingdom .
But now all of these outstanding and talented students were in his class .
So how could they not feel envious.
Especially when such students are so hard to come by .
There are some years where they won't even see a single student with half as good as this potentials .
And yet this time there were so many of them present they all had to be on the same class under processor Frost .
Thinking about this the other teachers could only slap themselves in they are mind , while regretting their luck .
Professor Alistair Frost also noticed this change however did not give any mind .
What was he supposed to do if he gets so many good students in the class .
It's not like he asked for it .
" Alright everyone settle down . "
The principle said as he looked everyone in the room seriously .
" This time our Academy and the Kingdom is fortunate to have so many young and talented students . "
" But right now they are too inexperienced and don't know how to use their powers. "
" As such it is our duty as teachers to protect them and help them in whatever way we can before they can stand on their own . "
As he said that Silastharus Caledor started to give everyone there following instructions .
Everyone understood what he meant and quickly nodded in agreement to the tasks they were given .
While they was still envious of Frost for having such a luck they all understood that this was a matter to the utmost importance .
After giving the instructions principle Caledor turned his attention towards Alistair Frost .
" Professor Frost I understand that with so many students it might be difficult for you to teach them alone . "
" As such I will hereby assign professor Flameworth to help you with that . "
" Further more I will assign more teachers to the class and tell them to look after the students carefully . "
As he said that both of the professors looked that each other and turn the heads away instantly .
" Whatever I will manage somehow to work with this idiot . "
" Don't worry professor I will keep this ice cream in line . "
The two of them quickly exchanged a short mockery towards each other but quickly accepted their roles together .
This was now once again a competition to both of them .
At the same time the other teachers also looked at them with envy but this time they also accepted the fact that perhaps these two were the most fitting to teach such a talented class
They themselves were good teachers especially considering the strict hiring criteria of the Academy .
But they doubted they are anything close to these two .
So it's better to let these top elites handle the big work .
And who said that they won't get any talented student in their class in the future .
After all the magical affinity test was just the start .
And there are many who would excel in Alchemy , summoning and martial arts .
And these talents are not something that can be judged or predicted just by some affinity test .
And it can only be brought out through regular training and practice .
But just when the meeting was going to end the principle said something even more shocking .
" And for this boy with gravity magic I will look into the matter and if I find his talents are good in the future the.... "
" I will think about teaching some things myself . "
These words were like a thunderclap to everyone present in the room .
Even Alistair Frost and Liam Flameworth frozen in shock .
" Sir are you sure about this . "
Base simply could not believe that the principle was actually going to teach someone again .
While not many in the room knew but actually the principle once used to teach students .
And all his students became something extraordinary throughout their career keeping the kingdom safe .
And yet a few decades ago he completely stopped taking disciple and slowly started to detach himself from teaching anyone .
At first many thought that it was because he was getting old and did not feel like taking in any new students .
But those with more information knew otherwise .
It was because a few decades ago a tragedy happened .
And this event would shake this man who had faced legends and storms to the core .
And this tragedy would finally force him to stop teaching anyone else .
So now when he was saying that he is going to teach another student obviously the matter was shocking .
Especially to those who knew the full story .
" Well I did not say I will definitely teach him I am just considering to give him some points about space time magic . "
" And all of it will depend on whether or not I think the boy has enough talents to learn this complex type of Magic . "
" So there is no need for you to over think it . "
The principal obviously understood what the two professor's were thinking and set with a smile to ease their worries .
But in his heart even he was not quite sure about this decision .
The gravity magic is a form of a pseudo space time magic and the principle's professionalisation is also in space time related subject .
And while he did not have the gravity magic but he was certainly the most qualified to teach about it .
And although the other professors can teach this as well but they are not quite as familiar with this complex art as him .
Both professor Alistair Frost and Liam Flameworth mastered in ice and fire magic and there was no doubt they could also teach about the other elemental and non elemental magics .
But when things started to get into the category of pseudo space time and space time magic the complexity increases by a whole different level .
' And just because I made a mistake all those years ago , that does not mean a young talent would have to suffer for it . ' - he thought to himself .
After this the meeting continued for sometime more before it was over and one after another everyone except the principal left the room .
Now left alone in the room the grandfatherly old man looked at a picture on his desk .
The picture depicted him from a few decades ago where he was surrounded by a young girl and a young boy on both sides in the accademy ground's with all of them laughing together .
Looking at this picture a small happy - sad smile appeared on the face of the strongest Wizard in the kingdom as if remembering the good days that had slipped by .
" Well even if I don't teach him as a disciple then I can at least give him some pointers as he grows up . "
As he said that he look at the face of the young boy in the picture and sad in a soft voice as if making a promise to himself .
" I won't let the mistake I made with you to happen again ."
" Andragoras !!!! "
