Chapter 473 - 473: The Visitor from Above (1/?)

Grand Zeno's Temple

In the boundless temple of the Omni-King, Grand Zeno floated lazily through the grand hall, his round head bobbing like a rugby ball. Two loyal guards trailed behind him, while the Grand Minister stood below, hands clasped behind his back in respectful silence.

After circling the vast palace, Grand Zeno finally stopped and looked down.

"That energy from the Sixth Universe… it's drifted into the Seventh," he said curiously. "Did that guy come back again?"

The Grand Minister bowed slightly.

"Grand Zeno, he and those six Universes have already vanished into nothingness. You need not concern yourself."

Zeno tilted his head, looking unconvinced.

"Really? Then why do the wish-granting orbs he left behind still exist?"

The Grand Minister's gaze lowered. He said nothing.

Zeno hummed softly.

"Well, if anything goes wrong, I'll just erase the Sixth and Seventh Universes. There are too many anyway."

The Grand Minister quickly interjected, his voice calm but measured.

"Grand Zeno, perhaps we could visit the Seventh Universe instead? Whis once mentioned a planet called Earth. It's said to be rather fun."

Zeno's eyes lit up.

"Oh? You want to go play there? Okay!"

The two guards exchanged quick glances—this was strange. The Grand Minister rarely suggested leaving the palace, much less to visit the lower realms.

Still smiling, the Grand Minister gestured gracefully.

"Then let's depart, Grand Zeno."

Seventh Universe – God of Destruction's Temple

Whis gently nudged Beerus awake. The sleepy God of Destruction groaned, rubbing his eyes.

"Whis… why so early? I've barely slept a year."

Whis's expression was uncharacteristically serious.

"Lord Beerus, wake up. I've received word that Grand Zeno is on his way to our Universe."

Beerus's eyes shot open.

"Huh—wait, WHAT!? Grand Zeno!? Why now!?"

"It seems Grand Zeno briefly considered erasing both our Universe and the Sixth. The Grand Minister hopes this visit might change his mind."

Beerus jumped to his feet, tail flicking nervously.

"Erase us!? Why us!?"

"Who can understand Grand Zeno's thoughts?" Whis replied calmly. "Now, please get ready. You don't plan to greet him looking like that, do you?"

Beerus glanced down at his wrinkled pajamas and immediately changed into his ceremonial garments.

Moments later, Grand Zeno and his entourage arrived. Beerus and Whis bowed deeply as they landed.

After a short exchange, Grand Zeno grew bored with the quiet temple and waved dismissively.

"How dull. Let's go straight to Earth!"

Whis froze. Marcarita and Vados are still there… this could be trouble.

But the Grand Minister's reassuring nod told him not to worry.

Suppressing his concern, Whis led the group toward Earth.

On Earth – Uchiha Chiga's House

Inside a cozy Earth home, Vados's younger sister, Marcarita, twirled proudly in a black-and-white maid outfit. Her silver twin ponytails bounced as she posed in front of Uchiha Chiga, who sat lazily on the couch.

"Well?" she asked brightly. "How does this Angel look?"

Chiga raised a brow. To be fair, she did look good. But his words were blunt as ever.

"What's with the outfit? Cosplaying again? You're wearing a maid costume but not doing any maid work."

Marcarita froze in disbelief.

"Don't you think I look cute in it? I read online that twin ponytails match maid outfits perfectly!"

Ever since she'd discovered Earth's internet, she'd been obsessed—browsing random sites and experimenting with bizarre trends almost daily.

Chiga crossed his arms, smirking.

"So now you're using your charms? What's this—an online romance?"

Her eyes widened.

"Who said that!? As if an Angel would date a human!"

"Then why are you dressing up so extravagantly every day?" he teased.

She looked away, cheeks puffing out.

"What do you think?"

"I don't know," he replied dryly. "Since you're dressed like a maid, how about you actually do some maid duties? Start with cleaning the house."

Marcarita's eyes flashed with irritation. She stomped her foot and snapped her fingers—instantly, the entire house became spotless.

"There! Happy now?" she huffed, turning her head away in defiance.

Chiga only shrugged and sank into the sofa, picking up the remote.

"Which channel do you want to watch?"

Marcarita folded her arms, still sulking.

"Channel six. They're showing Angel Babies right now!"

"Got it," Chiga replied casually—then changed the TV to channel seven.

Marcarita blinked.

"I said channel six! Did you mishear me?"

"I heard you," he said, deadpan. "I just didn't say I'd pick it."

"You…!" She exhaled sharply. "Fine! Channel seven is fine. I'm not picky."

But as soon as she glanced at the screen, her entire face went crimson. The show currently playing was titled "Swimsuit Competition."

Images of dazzling models filled the screen. Marcarita's mind betrayed her—she imagined herself wearing one of those outfits. The thought alone made her blush harder.

"You did that on purpose!" she accused, pointing at him. "I didn't expect you to be such a perverted God!"

Chiga frowned.

"What's wrong with you now? It's just a show. Nothing indecent about it."

"I'm not human!" she protested. "I'm an Angel!"

"Right, right. You're an Angel," Chiga said, eyes still on the screen. "Now relax."

Marc

arita pouted but said nothing more, her gaze occasionally flicking toward him. Her heart, however, refused to settle.
