Chapter 269 - 《Naruto: The Ōtsutsuki Bloodline》Chapter 269: Is This What Gods Are? (Please Subscribe)

"Dessert? Clansman? Isshiki did it too?"

Ōtsutsuki Urashiki could no longer hold back his shock upon hearing Kitagawa Minamoto's words.

Skipping the step of cultivating chakra fruits, treating "clansmen as stepping stones to divinity"—even after living for so many years, this was the first time Urashiki had encountered such a madman. Someone so brazen, so unrestrained, who openly targeted his own kind!

"And Isshiki did it too?"

Urashiki couldn't quite figure out what Isshiki had done, but based on Minamoto's words, there was a high likelihood that Isshiki had devoured a chakra fruit and killed Kaguya in the process.

"Then... hid away?"

Urashiki couldn't make sense of it, but he had no time to think further—Minamoto's next attack was already upon him!

"Damn it! Does this lunatic really think of me as 'dessert'?!"

Urashiki roared in fury, dodging Minamoto's blade with a frantic flash step. At the same time, he swung his fishing rod, its thin, sharp fishing line whistling toward Minamoto.

But Minamoto merely smiled.

"Compared to Isshiki-senpai, you're far too lacking."

Buzz—

Golden light flashed, and as Minamoto dodged the fishing line, his golden sword sliced through Urashiki's arm!

Urashiki's left arm flew into the air, and he lost his balance entirely. In the next moment, Minamoto's foot slammed into Urashiki's stomach.

BOOM!

Urashiki's figure was sent flying like a missile, crashing heavily into the ground. The impact caused the earth to crack and fissure, deep chasms spreading out like a spider's web. Even the remaining mountains in the area began to collapse and sink.

The power of the Ōtsutsuki clan was truly beyond human comprehension!

"Damn it!"

Despite suffering such a devastating attack, Urashiki leapt back into the air. His severed arm twisted and regenerated in an instant, and though he appeared disheveled, he was otherwise unharmed.

However, his gaze had grown icy cold, and the killing intent in his eyes was impossible to conceal.

"As a fellow clansman, since you dare attack me, then..."

With a roar, Urashiki's chakra exploded, and the Byakugan in his eye sockets transformed into a pair of red Six Tomoe Rinnegan.

"I will kill you without giving you the chance to use a Kāma!"

Buzz—

In an instant, he charged forward, his speed now even faster, his movements leaving traces of spatial distortion. The fishing rod in his hand glowed red, wildly swinging and unleashing violent chakra.

"Heavenly Must Wave Meteor Command!"

The red fishhooks transformed into a net-like formation, whistling toward Minamoto. But Minamoto simply sighed.

"Is this all you can do? Then..."

"Silver Wheel Reincarnation Explosion!"

A violent chakra storm surged in Minamoto's hand, its roaring winds carrying the fury of a tempest. With a single swing of his sword, everything before him twisted and shattered like paper!

Urashiki's red fishhooks, along with the surrounding debris, were reduced to dust in an instant, disappearing without a trace.

Minamoto didn't stop there. After his sword strike, his figure flashed and appeared beside Urashiki.

Buzz—

Another blade fell, this time aimed directly at Urashiki's head!

However, Urashiki's eyes erupted with a strange ripple, and just as the blade was about to strike him, his body transformed into countless red paper cranes.

The red paper cranes flickered and reassembled, and Urashiki reappeared nearby.

"Tch, a spatial technique?"

Minamoto muttered to himself, but he wasn't particularly concerned. In the blink of an eye, he chased after Urashiki again.

Minamoto was well-acquainted with Urashiki's abilities. This guy possessed three pairs of Rinnegan, each with terrifying powers.

"Red, blue, and gold."

The red Six Tomoe Rinnegan granted spatial abilities. It enhanced the speed of techniques like "Yomotsu Hirasaka" and strengthened his overall spatial manipulation.

The red paper cranes were one such ability, allowing him to evade attacks and teleport to any nearby location.

The blue Rinnegan provided time reversal capabilities, allowing him to rewind time and avoid damage.

The golden Rinnegan enhanced his physical attributes, making him even more formidable.

"But even with such good cards, you still manage to lose miserably?"

Urashiki was strong, his abilities covering both "stats" and "mechanics." But Urashiki was also weak—perhaps his greatest weakness lay in his mind!

Buzz—

Urashiki had just reappeared, but Minamoto was already closing in on him. The ninja blade infused with Truth-Seeking Orb energy swung furiously toward him.

"Damn it, how is he so fast?"

Urashiki's face showed fear. He had just dodged the previous attack, yet Minamoto's reaction speed was so quick that he was already closing in again.

The sword strike had missed him by mere inches, and if it had hit, he knew he wouldn't have escaped unscathed.

In desperation, he activated the power of his red Rinnegan once more. But as he teleported, he was shocked to find Minamoto chasing him yet again!

"Spatial abilities aren't exclusive to you."

A cold voice rang out, and Urashiki was horrified to discover that his chest had been struck again. The Yin-Yang Release energy penetrated his body, causing excruciating pain. He had no choice but to teleport away once more, creating distance between himself and Minamoto.

"I must say, you are far inferior to Isshiki-senpai."

This time, Minamoto didn't immediately pursue him. Instead, he sighed and shook his head.

"In terms of character and power, you fall far short of him. As expected, only I truly understand Isshiki-senpai."

Raising his hand, the golden sword formed from the Truth-Seeking Orb radiated dazzling light. Minamoto's cold voice echoed once more.

"As for you..."

With a swing of his sword, the violent chakra illuminated the sky like daylight, and Minamoto's voice resounded across the heavens.

"Your only value lies in fulfilling the shared dream of Isshiki-senpai and me!"

"Shut up!"

"You understand nothing!"

"Who shares a dream with you?"

"You insane, babbling lunatic!"

Below, those witnessing the battle were stunned, while within Obito's consciousness, Isshiki was utterly exasperated.

Isshiki had anticipated that his "White Kāma" would attract Kitagawa Minamoto, and by extension, other Ōtsutsuki. But he hadn't expected these two to clash so fiercely—and worse, for Minamoto to start spouting nonsense again!

"Who shares a dream with this lunatic? Who devoured a chakra fruit?!"

"Open your eyes and look carefully! Do I look like someone who has devoured a fruit?!"

"Urashiki is an idiot! Can't he see that Minamoto is insane?!"

Isshiki raged internally, but he also realized that for those unaware of the situation, Minamoto's madness might not be immediately apparent.

Skipping the step of cultivating chakra fruits, directly targeting one's own kind—was this something an Ōtsutsuki should even say?

And if Minamoto wanted to express his own views, why did he have to drag Isshiki into it every time?

"Damn it, I didn't do it! I didn't!"

Isshiki was generally a composed individual, even when dealing with "lesser beings." But facing slander from a fellow clansman—especially such blatant and nonsensical accusations—he truly couldn't hold back.

Yet, in his fury, he couldn't help but wonder: was Minamoto's path actually viable?

"Could it be that the clan's prohibition against killing our own kind isn't just because we lack numbers, but for other reasons as well?"

Despite his outrage, Isshiki found himself pondering the implications. Planting a God Tree required sacrificing an Ōtsutsuki and extracting a planet's energy to obtain a chakra fruit.

If both the God Tree and an Ōtsutsuki were essential components, then perhaps...

"Is it possible to obtain similar power directly from an Ōtsutsuki clansman, without using a God Tree?"

The thought disturbed him so much that he dared not pursue it further. Yet, a part of him couldn't help but wonder if this truly was a viable path.

"Is this... a battle between two Ōtsutsuki?"

While Isshiki was lost in thought, Obito stared at the sky in astonishment. The power on display—capable of destroying heaven and earth with mere gestures—left him awestruck.

Yet he was also confused by their conversation. What fruit? What dream? What will? He couldn't make sense of it.

But one thing was clear to him: this was a battle between gods, and...

"It seems this Kitagawa Minamoto intends to harm his own clansman?"

It wasn't just Obito who was bewildered—everyone outside the Kamui dimension was even more confused.

At least Obito had the protection of his Kamui space, but the others had no such shield. The endless energy waves and thunderous shockwaves were so intense that some had begun coughing blood!

"Is this what gods are?"

Kimimaro struggled to stay upright, with Jūgo protecting him, while Suigetsu had melted into a puddle on the ground. They were all suffering, and the Sound Four were already vomiting blood.

Watching the figures battling in the sky, they all felt their scalps tingle with fear. None of them had ever witnessed such a battle before.

Yet in Kimimaro's eyes, there was a hint of envy. He desperately craved such power!

"With such strength, I could help Lord Orochimaru achieve any dream..."

Kimimaro remained unchanged—his eyes saw only Orochimaru!

"Hmph, so this is how gods fight?"

Kisame wiped his ear, finding blood on his hand. He realized he had been injured by the shockwaves.

"It seems the desires of 'gods' are even greater than we imagined."

Zabuza and Raiga were also in terrible shape, though the shockwaves hadn't affected them too severely—they could still recover.

But their expressions were strange, even somewhat amused.

"They're even more ruthless than us—when they get serious, not even their own kind is spared."

Soon, their gaze shifted to another side. Being in their Edo Tensei state, they could still move...

"Are you alright?"

On the other side, the Kirigakure shinobi were in complete disarray. Though this sudden battle had interrupted their own conflict, they would have preferred to continue fighting rather than being crushed by these overwhelming aftershocks.

Mei Terumī glanced at her companions. Ao and Chōjūrō nodded weakly, barely managing to stay conscious, while Utakata had already passed out.

Yet even unconscious, the Six-Tails' chakra continued to rage within him, as if desperate to escape this place.

"Is this what gods are?"

Mei felt terrible, but she couldn't help looking up at the sky. Though the battle seemed one-sided, each collision between the two combatants caused massive destruction.

Such power could only belong to "gods"!

"AAAAARGH!"

Suddenly, a furious roar erupted beside her. She turned sharply to see the mentally unstable but terrifyingly powerful man charging toward them.

His body seemed unaffected by the battle above, but his mind appeared even more deranged—facing him was like confronting a wild beast!

"This is bad..."

Seeing him approach, Mei's expression changed, especially when she noticed movement from the Edo Tensei shinobi on the other side.

They were in danger!

"AAAH!"

With a roar, the madman reached her, his massive fist swinging toward her with devastating force.

"Look out!"

Chōjūrō and Ao spotted the danger and shouted, but it was clearly too late.

Yet at that critical moment, a figure suddenly appeared in front of Mei.

BOOM!

Almost simultaneously, one of the figures in the sky crashed into the ground like a cannonball.

The earth shook violently...
