Chapter 395 - Chapter 395: Deadly Games

Raditz and his group descended suddenly to find the planet in ruins. Flames of destruction raged everywhere, human screams echoed through the air, and the architect of this catastrophe—Babidi—hovered steadily above it all, watching from on high.

Both parties locked eyes.

"That's him! Babidi! Exactly like his father Bibidi!" The Kaioshin clenched his fists so tightly they cracked audibly. After all these years, his nightmare was finally coming to an end!

As long as he killed Babidi here and now, Majin Buu would never be resurrected.

Babidi spotted Raditz's group at the same moment, his eyes widening with sudden excitement. "It's the Kaioshin! Dabura, get over here!"

Murderous intent ignited in his heart. The Kaioshin was his father's killer—one of the primary obstacles to his cosmic ambitions. No matter what, he had to eliminate him quickly. Since the Supreme Kai had delivered himself right to Babidi's doorstep, he wouldn't hold back! But... there were all kinds of other strange people mixed in that Babidi couldn't quite figure out.

The Saiyans at the front carried themselves with overwhelming presence—clearly not ordinary fighters. The tall man in the white cape had a green face cold as an iceberg, deeply unpleasant to look at. Another seemed more machine than man. The warriors in the back wearing tight combat suits and armor chatted casually among themselves, looking far too relaxed. By comparison, the Kaioshin following behind them seemed almost mediocre.

The sky hung low and oppressive, the red glow of burning flames flickering across Babidi's features.

"I didn't expect them to track us down here! Hey, Dabura, what do you make of them?"

"I sense very powerful energy. If we can absorb all of it, it should be more than enough."

"Really?" Babidi sneered. "I also think they're unusual. Then let's try to absorb their energy. As for the Kaioshin... hehe, I'm going to kill him myself!"

"Then..." Dabura awaited instructions.

Babidi turned and flew toward the ground. For concealment and safety, he'd hidden Majin Buu's ball deep within his spaceship, which itself was buried underground. Without digging extensively, no one would find it.

"Bring them inside." Babidi entered the spacecraft first, with Dabura following close behind.

As they departed, everyone exchanged surprised looks. "They're running away! Should we chase them?"

"It's a trap. They're trying to lure us in."

"Wouldn't it be better to just destroy this whole area and force them out?" Pepara suggested.

Raditz shook his head. "No need. Jeice sent word that troops are being dispatched for rescue—let him handle the civilians. We'll go inside and have some fun with Babidi. Sound interesting? Kaioshin, what do you say?"

"Ah... that... that person is Dabura! It's Dabura, the King of the Demon Realm!" The Kaioshin was lost in his own world and hadn't heard Raditz's question.

Kibito immediately chimed in beside him. "I didn't expect Babidi could even control the Demon King. He's more terrifying than we thought."

Aside from Raditz, no one else knew Dabura's identity. They'd all dealt with opponents from the Demon Realm before, but none who claimed the title of Demon King. That evil woman Towa from the past was supposedly the Demon King's sister, wasn't she? Everyone speculated that Dabura's strength must be formidable, suddenly growing eager for a proper match.

Raditz smiled faintly. "This Dabura isn't as powerful as Mira, but for some of you, he might prove a decent opponent."

Having made up their minds, everyone entered the spacecraft one by one. What they didn't expect was to find themselves in a closed circular chamber, with a large "M" emblazoned on the gray-white hatch ahead.

"This is the inside of the spaceship? How underwhelming." Those familiar with Alliance technology immediately voiced their disappointment.

"Don't let your guard down. Babidi knows magic. Even though this spacecraft doesn't look impressive, its functions are formidable. Any injury you sustain will result in your energy being drained," Raditz explained.

"Hmph. As if we'd get hurt dealing with trash like this." Vegeta's lips curled in disdain. Dabura's level was beneath his notice now.

At that moment, the cabin door slowly opened, and an alien with an elongated, bulbous head emerged. His body was pitch black beneath white armor, sharp horns protruding from his back, and a large "M" carved into his forehead.

"Here we go! Our first opponent!" Everyone's eyes lit up as the enemy finally appeared.

But in less than a second, their enthusiasm dimmed, as if their fighting spirit had evaporated. In their eyes, this guy was far too weak. Just moments ago, everyone had been jostling to fight first, eager for a serious battle. Now they suddenly became exceedingly modest, politely declining and stepping backward.

"Ah, Tarble, didn't you say you wanted to go first? I'll leave this one to you." Zucara took a step back.

"No, no, you'd be better suited. I'll wait." Tarble retreated two steps.

"Don't pass up this opportunity! What a fine opponent—don't let him go to waste!" Nappa hid behind Vegeta.

"I'm not fighting him. You go first, you go first." Pepara backed against the wall repeatedly, unable to retreat any further.

In Pui Pui's eyes, these people feared him, which only made him laugh harder.

Babidi, watching from the control room, squinted his bulbous eyes with an evil smile, thoroughly satisfied with the scene. The fighters he'd collected from across the universe were all powerful—and his champion had already frightened the Kaioshin's companions just by appearing. He was overjoyed.

Pui Pui placed his hands on his hips and puffed out his chest arrogantly. "There's no need to retreat! You'll all die at the hands of this great Pui Pui today! Hahahaha!" He thrust out his arm, pointing at everyone with overwhelming arrogance.

His laughter echoed through the chamber. Pui Pui expected to see panic on their faces, but instead found that no one was even paying attention to him.

Those bastards were still being polite with each other, saying "you first," "no, you first," but not one of them looked his way—as if he didn't exist. The scene fell into awkward silence, and Pui Pui's triumphant pose froze.

The only one who acknowledged him was the Kaioshin, who looked at Pui Pui with a pitying expression.

"You... you people, come at me together if you dare!" Pui Pui flew into a rage.

But everyone continued ignoring him, all backing away from each other. Pui Pui was so furious he clawed at the air, his teeth grinding audibly. This was utterly humiliating...

"Fine, I'll be the first one." Finally, Android 17 couldn't bear it any longer and stepped forward, walking toward Pui Pui.

He kept one hand in his pocket, his expression relaxed, his steps so casual he looked ready to break into song. Actually, no—Android 17 was indeed listening to music, with earbuds dangling from one ear, playing a song on repeat.

Pui Pui completely lost it. He charged forward, raised both hands, and unleashed a barrage of punches at tremendous speed. The entire sequence flowed together seamlessly, flexible and varied like a martial arts exhibition, each strike carrying devastating power!

But Android 17 simply extended a single finger, casually blocked Pui Pui's punch, then thrust forward! BOOM! Pui Pui's fist shattered on impact, the armor on his chest exploded, and his entire body detonated under the force of the massive energy blast. Blood sprayed everywhere, blocked by Android 17's energy shield, and splattered across the entire spacecraft interior.

Instant kill! Exactly as Raditz and the others expected, but completely beyond Babidi and Dabura's imagination.
