Across the square, Moon and Peter approached with Frost and Ash, joined by Thomas. Stella and Bonnie arrived too, bringing Misty, Sweet, and even a jaguar with a leopard cub.
The meeting was filled with surprise and caution, but also relief. Each carried not only animals but stories of survival.
"We need to figure out what's going on soon," Thomas said firmly.
