The kingdom had grown quiet under the rule of the Queen. No one dared voice their opinions about the rule of a woman. The people quietly allowed the Queen on the throne.
That morning, Queen Elizabeth sat on her bed while her lady-in-waiting prepared her dressing for the day.
She had some meetings to attend and some officials to meet.
"The Grand Duke Leo wishes to meet you. He sent a message a while ago hoping you'd spare some time to see him," she informed.
Queen Elizabeth had already expected to see him. She had sent him a letter to meet when everyone calmed down. And she guessed it was him coming to meet her.
He clearly was desperate for answers.
"Tell him to meet me in the court after the official meeting. I'll have time for him today," she explained while staring at the clothes the lady-in-waiting was arranging.
"Are you ready to speak with him?" she asked the Queen.
