Lysander grew up all alone because of his illness, so he had no friends. He felt awkward around people. But Lyeian brought him out of his shell.
Lyeian was cheerful and bubbly, so he naturally helped Lysander smile again, and the two of them naturally grew close together.
They happily cooperated with whatever medication Mr. Albert was giving them. And happily spent their time together in the pond made for them.
They had become really close as friends.
With time, Lyeian had begun developing some strange powers he didn't understand. But he didn't go insane yet, since he was a pure soul. Mr. Albert had noticed and calmed him down, telling the kid that it was normal and he was a vessel of the gods. That he was special.
He had lied to the kid while he continued with his process of bonding their souls and driving the dark force into the pure soul—Lyeian.
